There are nearly 1,500 children in Essex County's foster care system waiting for you to speak up for them. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Volunteer Advocates work to ensure each child has the opportunity to thrive while in care and that their time in care is as short as possible by conducting independent investigations, reviewing records, gathering information, and talking to everyone involved in the child's life. Help change the life of a vulnerable child by becoming a CASA Volunteer Advocate today. To learn more, contact Jess at jearl@casaessex.org or (973) 622-4831 or sign up for a free information session. Dates and times can be found at www.tinyurl.com/CASAEssex.

We're planning our 2nd annual golf tournament to raise money for our Maple House Women with Children program. The women there are all mothers or mothers-to-be who are able to get treatment while living at Maple House with their children. The funds we raise will be dedicated to improving the home for these families, especially for the kids! For the tournament, we will need volunteers to help with set up, registration, the silent auction and our awards banquet. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
