We are actively searching for volunteers to assist with our weekly classes-especially Saturdays! Class volunteers consist of horse leaders, sidewalkers (someone who walks beside the horse and assists the rider), hostesses in the observation room, and barn manager (someone who keeps things running smoothly in the barn behind the scenes!).

Classes run year-round but volunteers are asked to commit to 8-week sessions. Must be at least 12 years old and physically able to walk 30-minutes at a time on uneven/sandy footing. Winter Session (Jan-Feb), Spring Session (Mar-Apr), Summer 1 (May-June), Summer 2 (July-Aug), and Fall (Sep-Nov).

Tall and Strong men and women are needed at all times to assist with riders who need to be physically held up on the horses.

All volunteers must attend a 2-hour orientation and safety training prior to volunteering as well as fill out a 1-page form and online application found at: http://bttr.im/i9vef

We are also always searching for grant writers, fundraisers, and people who can assist with barn chores!

The Campaign Against Cancer is a table top game tournament. Each gaming spaces uses a 60" round table per 2 players. We typically have 80 players, therefore needing approximately 40 tables set up (with chairs and play mats), along with tables for registration, prize support, food, etc. We also have a concession area that would need set up, along with prize support displays and other items. As we are a very small non profit organization (typically with just 2 people taking off work to get it completed), we would appreciate help setting up this event.
The event is based on a Star Wars game....so on Saturday we have Star Wars Cos Players out to take pictures with etc. It is a fun time if you are a Star Wars Fan!
