Phoebe's Golf Tournament raises money for charitable care for residents at our facilities. We remain committed to supporting those in our community with limited resources. In fact, nearly 60% of our skilled nursing residents are Medicaid recipients. Medicaid does not cover the full cost of care for each of these people, and so they, along with others in the Phoebe system, rely on Phoebe’s promise of charitable care. We are committed to serving each and every resident with the same excellent care that they deserve regardless of their financial standing.
We will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Phoebe Golf Tournament, which will be held at Saucon Valley Country Club on Monday, August 13, 2018. We are planning to make the tournament extra special this year for its 10th anniversary. We also anticipate celebrating over $1 million raised for charity care over the past 10 years through the Golf Tournament.
