We have projects for small teams (3-5 volunteers) to support one local senior. If you have a larger team of 10, the team could support 2-3 seniors and so on.Team volunteering is an extended team building experience where everyone shares in helping the same person, but in different ways and on different dates.
Your team will share the responsibility of meeting the requested needs (tasks) of this Senior in a 3-6 month or longer timeframe. We meet with your team to ensure we find a senior in need of the tasks you would be willing to do as a group. We can facilitate a group engagement at the begining and end of your term (if desired by your team).
Various tasks requested: rides, running errands, helping at home, taking out the garbage, shopping, helping with technology support, fix-its & social visits from a live list of options (dated and flexible) with Northwest Neighbors Network.
Reach danie@northwestneighborsnetwork.org or call 415-724-8283 to learn more about Team Volunteering.
