We are so excited to be opening our first public Lemondrop location, which is a 100% FREE clothing closet for the community. We desperately need VOLUNTEERS who are available to be present at the clothing closet during open hours on Saturdays. There's no money exchange in any way, just a couple papers to have any clients sign (liability waivers and acknowledgements of the closet's guidelines), and marking down what items they select. The Clothing Closet is located in the 32303 zipcode, which is one of the most impoverished areas of food and housing insecurity in Tallahassee -- the closet is desperately needed here. We will be giving clothing for free: no income verification, no background check. Clients can just come in once a week for clothing that they need.Once you sign up, please join our private signal group (app), so you can be included in day-to-day updates and have direct access to ask questions:

Elaine, a resilient woman from Charlotte, North Carolina, is in urgent need of help. Despite being wheelchair-bound due to multiple severe health conditions, including Chiari Malformation, liver disease, fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis, she continues to stay active in her church and ministry. However, her once-beautiful flower beds and pathways have become severely overgrown, leaving her overwhelmed.Elaine’s connection to the land runs deep. Before her disabilities took hold, she had a background in landscaping and even started a business selling flowers. Now, as she faces her daily challenges, she watches helplessly as her beloved garden becomes unmanageable. Elaine found our charitable organization through a voice Siri search, and we are now reaching out to individuals, groups, and organizations to come together and assist her in restoring her garden.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of someone who has given so much to her community. Let’s come together to help Elaine reclaim the beauty of her garden and bring some peace to her life.
