Our pandemic-born 501c3 Non-Profit Organization has been featured in over 300 media outlets internationally over the last year (https://iwanttomowyourlawn.com/news) .

Recently backed by Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. through Benevity -- our "GRASSroots" organization provides Free Socially Distant Lawn Care for Elderly Grandparents, Military Veterans, People with Disabilities and Other People in Need. First started in New Jersey after founder laid off from advertising job in NYC, the website platform is growing at an overwhelming rate and now boasts over 150 landscaping volunteers enlisted across 36 states. Pretty soon, the charity will be a household name with upcoming public relations coverage. This is bigger than "Lawn Care", that's just the byproduct...

Our website is customized from scratch and hosted with WordPress. Would love to partner with top notch developers to help improve the Volunteer sign-up experience as well as capture more details.

COMMUNITY INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
Help determine how United Way dollars are invested. On an annual basis, United Way of Kenosha County provides funding to local programs that have proven their effectiveness. Through a process we call Community Investment, donor volunteers lead the review of funding requests, program outcomes, financial data and past performance. Most of the work takes place between February and June. Volunteers should be able to commit to monthly meetings of one or more hours, as well as site visits to local nonprofits.

Being a Community Investment Volunteer means:

Working together with other volunteers throughout our region

Sharing your skills and learning more about our community

Reviewing and scoring Partner Programs program applications submitted by Partner Agencies

Making important decisions on investing donated funds

Making a difference in our communities

As a Community Investment Volunteer, you will give approximately 20 hours of service to the community throughout the year.

Sign up by completing the United Way of Kenosha County Community Investment Volunteer Application. To request more information, please contact us 262-658-4104.

Looking to officially partner with charitable organizations / firms / organizations in any category -- to help local Elderly Seniors (or anyone else in need of relief: disabled, military veterans, medical personnel serving on the front lines and cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy) in their own area with an outdoor socially distant, fall 2021 leaf removal clean-up day. These are people in true need - who can’t find help, don’t have the means financially nor physically to take care of their own yardwork.

Looking to do a co-branded, joint-announcement across available communication channels and host a dedicated signup-page powered by IWantToMowYourLawn.com as the lead generation webpage -- which can benefit all parties – your organization / productivity / goodwill reputation, beautifying your community and our non-profit org’s reach. Companies encouraged to sport their own company attire while on premise doing work together for added exposure for possible public relations.

Whether it's a few individuals up to 1,000's - we can support the promotional efforts through our own social channels and advertising grant. Based on resources (headcount) available representing your organization, we can customize the official program offering to a limited, set number of people qualified for our help! Can provide rakes and bags upon request. Note: Overflow of leads that hit "cap" allocation can be covered by other volunteers in the area.

I Want To Mow Your Lawn Inc.
A 501c3 Non-Profit Organization started at the peak of the pandemic (now with 120 volunteers across 30 states) has been featured in over 300 media outlets across the USA. Provides free lawn mowing and landscaping help for senior citizens not able to afford regular lawn care, unable to find help or just don’t have the abilities to upkeep it themselves. Volunteers range from College Students up to Early Retirees and everything in between i.e. busy working professionals, people in between jobs and full-fledged families, even landscaping pros that like to #giveback.
Our consumer-facing, re-imagined website platform enables clients to search for volunteers nearby by zip code and/or post their lawn care requests for others to reach out. Whereas generous volunteers can create a profile and set their own parameters based on their own schedule, distance willing to travel and equipment available.
