Synergy Saturday is a weekly pop-up wellness event with experiential learning, free health screening, and patient navigation services to reverse poor health and poverty. The Organization offers free health screenings for the public (population health). The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) students from inter-professional departments come out every Saturday to perform the health screenings from 8 am - 2 pm. This Experiential Learning Opportunity program is an excellent way to give back to the community and the people of the community. There are hundreds of lives saved every year because of our free health screenings, and being a part of a life-saving event is truly an amazing opportunity.Screenings save lives! Health screenings catch diseases, illnesses, or potential causes in the earliest stages when either treatment, an all-natural supplement, or a simple lifestyle change has its greatest chance for success. Because our free health screenings have a minimum per-person value of $100, it can be said that for every $100 raised a life is saved! Our participants are empowered by knowing their numbers for the sake of their health and healthy lifestyles. Synergy Saturday encourages its participants to lead healthier, longer, and more productive lives.
Healthcare is universal and quality care should be afforded to all regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, marital status, disability, religious or political affiliation, age, or sexual orientation. Synergy Saturday is here with synergistic care from like-minded caregivers who desire to help our communities with love and genuine respect.
