Fox Valley Older Adult Services, as part of their Seniors with a Purpose Programs, is having a fun, creative and purpose-filled workshop for Kohl's volunteers. At this workshop volunteers will learn about our Happy Hatz Project and be able to participate in creating these fun and creative hats. Our hats are then distributed to pediatric cancer patients to protect their sensitive little heads and add smiles to their faces. No experience is necessary. There are many levels of participation available to volunteers involved in this project.Available Shifts

Opportunity Details
Are you passionate about helping to alleviate hunger? The St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program is depended upon by children and adults who are hungry and in need of an evening meal. The majority of people who eat at our sites report that they would not have access to a meal if our program didn't exist. Our sites are volunteer-run and you can make the difference! We serve meals nightly Sunday-Friday, but have a particularly difficult time finding volunteers on Sunday nights. Please consider helping to serve hungry children and adults their dinner on Sunday!Volunteers are needed any time after 3pm and the meal is served from 5:30-6:15pm.
