Family Service Association is one of the largest nonprofits serving 3,500 meals daily to seniors in need in Riverside/San Bernardino counties. You would:
•Help prepare meals in the Senior Nutrition Kitchen
•Help serve the seniors
•Help with set-up and clean-up

Volunteers are needed Mon - Fri between 9 AM and 1 PM. Shifts are 3- to 4- hours, one or more days per week on a regular basis. Student and group volunteers may help if pre-scheduled. •Help load the delivery van (need to lift 10 to 30 lbs.)
•There may be an option to assist in the home delivery of meals to seniors (you will need to be fingerprinted and participate on a regular basis for three months)

Volunteers are needed Mon - Fri between 9:00 AM and 1 PM. Shifts are 3- to 4- hours, one or more days per week on a regular basis. Student and group volunteers may help if pre-scheduled. HHC Community Outreach puts on a drive-thru light park annually out at Binder Park in Jefferson City. This light park is a fundraising event for Homemaker Health Care. Homemaker Health Care is a non-profit that loans medical equipment out to the elderly and persons with disabilities free of charge. We are currently needing volunteers to help us set up the light displays out at Binder Park beginning in November. We also are needing volunteers to help run the event starting December 1st. The event runs from December 1st - December 31st. 6pm to 9pm. Closed on Mondays. The volunteers would help take donations, direct traffic, handout treats to kids, and many other tasks.

The Adopt-A-Family ministry at Catholic Charities works to connect donors with individuals and families served through our ministries during the holiday season. Last year, we were able to provide connections for more than 500 individuals and families. On Recipient Pick-up Day, we help hundreds of recipients organize and receive their amazing donations from donors.

Community Partnership on Aging was formed in 1978 as a result of the growing need for services and programs for older adults who wish to remain active and independent. Our mission is: “Improving lives through programs and services that support independence, community involvement and well-being,”

Annually we:

Provide over 9500 meals to active and frail older adults;
Provide almost 11,500 rides/year for older adults who no longer drive;
Distribute more than 15,000 pounds of food per year to older adults in need;
and so much more!

Forty years later, while service delivery has changed to meet the demographic, the overall delivery of the agency's mission has not changed. On Saturday, November 10, Community Partnership on Aging celebrates forty years of service to the older adults of the communities it serves. Plan on celebrating with CPA in style at the Hilton Garden Inn in Mayfield Village! Tickets for the 5 Star Dinner featuring the Annual 5 City 5 Alarm Chili Cook-Off include a tax deductible donation in support of Community Partnership on Aging programs and services, as well chili samples, appetizers, chicken dinner, vendors, door prizes, music/dancing and more!

Each year we bring Walk to End Alzheimer's to over 600 communities in the U.S., and we could not do it without our dedicated Walk day volunteers. Volunteers help with event set up, registration and check in, water stations, advocacy efforts, cheerleading and more! Raise awareness and bring your passion for the cause on Walk day.
