Volunteers play an essential role in maintaining the health and wellness of our residents by connecting them with mental health resources, leading workshops on mental health, hosting wellness nights, doing phone call check-ins, setting goals, and working with transportation services to get them to appointments.

Our volunteer drivers help Howard County seniors remain active and independent by providing rides for medical appointments, shopping, social outings, fitness activities, faith services, and other day-to-day needs. Flexible daytime, evening, and weekend opportunities are available. Volunteer drivers simply choose rides that are convenient to their homes, offices, and daily routines. No set schedule is required! Help us distribute food to low income families and seniors at an affordable housing complex in San JoseLow-income residents at affordable housing complexes struggle to make ends meet and must often choose between buying nutritious groceries or paying rent. Join Jewish, Christian, and Muslim volunteers to distribute fresh produce, dairy, grains, and meat to hungry neighbors in need—all outdoors. And as always, be prepared to have a great deal of fun as we collaborate in compassion!

This is the perfect volunteer opportunity to stretch your leadership skills and help us in the fight against Alzheimer's. The walk is located at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, CT and will take place on Sunday, October 9 this year.
Every year, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's takes place in over 600 communities nationwide — an effort that could not be done without the help of dedicated Walk day volunteers. These individuals help with event set up, registration, check in, booths, traffic control, table set up/take down, advocacy efforts, cheerleading and more!

Art With Elders (AWE) is seeking to grow and enhance its volunteer board of directors with SF Bay Area based individuals dedicated to the organization's mission to use the power of art, creativity, and community to enrich the journey of aging.Qualified applicants will have strong Bay Area philanthropic ties and the ability to increase both funding and community visibility opportunities for AWE as well as supplement the hard working staff's capacity.

Opportunity Details
Sourcewise invites corporate groups to assist with PPE sorting or other supplies such as creating marketing packets on-site at our headquarters in Santa Clara, CA. We regularly provide packets of gloves to caregivers to seniors in Santa Clara County and need help sorting, packaging and labeling these items on a monthly basis. Groups of 4-10 are welcome to help on a weekdays between 9:00 am - 4:30 pm or a Saturday between 9am-12pm. We will coordinate with your schedule.
