Each year we raise money for the sheltered workshop for adults with disabilities. We try and raise $5000 each year. The money goes to help fill in where the federal government cut funding. It’s important that each and every consumer can continue to work and receive a paycheck

Opportunity Details

This event is to provide individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities the ability to kayak and paddle board. This is something that many would not be able to do without the assistance with our 1:1 volunteers in a private setting. This population is not afforded the opportunities that the typical individual has. The event builds confidence and creates a social opportunity for this population. It also brings special needs families together for support and friendships. Parents can relax and enjoy watching their loved one have fun in the water, participating in lawn activities and family picnic.

Join us for MDA's second largest golf outing in the nation! Last year's CITGO Drive for a Cure Golf Outing raised nearly $650,000 for MDA and we are excited for another successful outing. We are in need of an additional to assist with golfer registration, activities, set up and more! Shifts are 6-9am, 8-11am, 11am-2pm, and 2-5pm. Opportunity Details

MDA Muscle Walk is a life-changing event that strengthens families and communities. In more than 150 hometowns across America, every event includes a 1- to 3.1-mile lap designed for participants of all ages and abilities, including a wheelchair and equipment friendly course. Leading up to the event, participants and teams fundraise to help MDA find research breakthroughs across diseases, care for kids and adults from day one and empower families with services and support to live longer and grow stronger. Muscle Walk is more than a fundraising walk. It’s a powerful experience that forges lifelong connections, celebrates families and the barriers they overcome and turns hope into answers.

On June 15, 2019, Sit Stay Sparkle will again be held on our campus in Santa Rosa, and it takes an army of volunteers to make this fun and inspiring event happen!
