The Blind Fitness Beach Walk and Run for Health offers a monthly opportunity for people who are blind or have low vision to get outside, exercise, engage with the community, and be proactive in caring for their mental and physical health. The group meets one Saturday a month at East Beach. Each participant sets their own goal for distance and pace, and if needed, is paired with a trained volunteer human guide to walk, jog, or run along the Santa Barbara waterfront. At the beginning of each event, we offer hands-on training for new volunteers to learn how to be a sighted human guide. All are welcome and encouraged to participate.Available Shifts
