Looking to improve that lead to conversion time this year with expanded coverage and an expected lift in requests!Am looking to my network for individuals or organizations to volunteer their time auditing for inefficiencies. Burnout is real. Been a lot of work day after day the last couple of years and can use a fresh set of eyes.
Please reach out regarding interest so I can share all the tools and systems in place. Ideas are nice… but really looking for hands-on help implementing actual process improvements.

The PEABODY LIONS CHARITIES Annual Golf Tournament is our primary fundraiser supporting our mission to fund Massachusetts Eye Research programs and serve
critical needs in our community. Our tournament is open to all individuals and organizations! We continue to strive for a record number of golfers and sponsors to join us in achieving our mission.

Since 2011, the Fiesta Especial Inclusion 5K & Parade team has worked to ensure that there’s a Fiesta experience that’s inclusive of people with all types of abilities. INCLUSION is involvement and empowerment, where the inherent worth and dignity of all people are recognized. An inclusive community promotes and sustains a sense of belonging; it values and practices respect for the talents, beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of living of its members.The Fiesta Especial Inclusion 5K is an inclusive, family-friendly event taking place on Saturday, April 2nd,2022. Starting from The City of Windcrest's City Hall and winding through the neighborhoods, this race includes competitive divisions for Runners, Riders, Walkers, and Rollers alike. Spectators are invited to bring a chair or blanket, find a spot along the route and enjoy watching the parade go by... at no cost to the family. Free games and activities are available for parade spectators to enjoy in the parking lot of the Windcrest City Hall and food and beverages will be available for sale.

Did you know loneliness is as bad for your health as alcoholism, smoking, or over-eating? Well, loneliness is a problem experienced by many seniors across Canada. Chatting to Wellness strives to help improve the lives of seniors by giving them a friend, improving their mood, and lowering risks of mental health issues like depression and dementia – all with a phone call. Since 2017, Chatting to Wellness has provided 5,000+ chats to seniors with stellar results and feed back! Seniors report feeling happier, filled with purpose, and looking forward to the days they are getting a call.

Phone Chats are available Monday through Friday, every week. Calls are between 1-1.5 hours, with training and debrief included. No regular commitment is required, you can sign up for as many or as little sessions as you like. Numerous slots between 6-9pm EST are available.
Calls will be with one senior, one Chatting to Wellness team member, and (up to) three volunteers.

Opportunity Details
Functions and Responsibilities:• CAs are volunteers who assist counseling staff for the duration of their stay.
• CAs generally fit into one of the following categories:
o College student/adult volunteer
o Respite weekend volunteer
o Volunteer Group not participating in the Youth Leadership Program
o LIT who has completed more than 3 weeks of YDL in one summer.
• Orientation/training varies by program and will either be online or in-person.
• General working hours are from 7:00am to 9:00pm.
• Assigned to a specific cabin/group of staff and campers to help throughout the week.
• Responsible to help pack and unpack campers as they arrive/leave.
• Responsible to help at mealtimes by serving food, getting drinks and setting up the table.
• Responsible to help at activity times by actively engaging in activities with campers.
• Responsible at non-activity times to engage campers in cabin activities, such as puzzles, board games and books.
• Responsible to help with basic safety needs of campers.
• Responsible to help at transition times to make sure all campers are accounted for.
• Responsible to ensure that campers have on bug-spray and sunscreen when leaving the cabin during summer/outdoor programming and appropriate winter wear during winter programming.
• Responsible to help with minor daily living skills, such as helping put on socks, shoes, jacket, braiding hair, painting fingernails, etc.
• Responsible to help counseling staff with general tidiness of cabin and activity areas.
• Assists counseling staff with any errands, such as going to the laundry room or supply room to drop something off/pick something up.
• Required to assist with any other duties assigned by counseling staff.
• CAs are required to report to Volunteer Coordinator or Seasonal/Program Managers regarding any safety/policy issues or personal concerns.
• During summer camp programming, Volunteer Coordinators provide overnight supervision of minor volunteers.
• CAs are expected to maintain a safe, healthy and clean atmosphere at all times.
• Expected to dress and act appropriately under our Volunteer Handbook Guidelines.
• CAs complete a written evaluation about their experience which is also completed by program staff.
• Responsible to assist with any other miscellaneous duties as assigned by Administrative Staff.
• Ages 14+
• Meals and Lodging provided
• Earn 80 service hours
• Arrival: Saturdays at 5pm
• Departure: Fridays at 4pm

Physical Demands:
• you may also need to perform duties that involve a variety of physical challenges. Appropriate training will be given to ensure that correct techniques and precautions are used in this area.
These may include
1. Extreme heat or cold
2. High decibel noises
3. Physically exerting activities (walking, lifting, crouching, sitting for lengthy periods)
4. Exposure to ionizing/nonionizing radiation (from radios, walkie talkies, microwaves etc.)
5. Physical aggression from campers who may display challenging behaviors.
Work Environment:
• You may also be exposed to some hazardous substances and harmful physical agents on a routine basis, meaning you may be exposed during the normal course of your work assignments. You will receive training on how to avoid illness or injury in this area.
These areas may include
1. Hazardous materials for cleaning (MSDS sheets available at each site)
2. Chemicals associated with protection of others (bug spray, sunscreen etc.)
3. Environmental factors (Poison ivy, pollen, insect bites etc.)
4. Gasoline or exhaust fumes from vehicles
5. Infectious agents such as blood or other bodily fluids
