Are you a natural storyteller with a knack for building excitement online?

Cycling Without Age Canada is seeking a creative and motivated Momentum Maker to help share the heartwarming stories of our mission across the country.

As part of our team, you’ll collaborate with local chapters to curate and share compelling content that inspires, informs, and engages our community. Together, we’ll amplify the voices of those we serve and showcase the magic of Cycling Without Age.

Responsibilities:
- Curate and create engaging stories, photos, and videos from local chapters across Canada.
- Manage and update our social media platforms with consistent, mission-focused content.
- Coordinate with local chapters to gather updates and highlights.
- Track engagement metrics to refine and enhance our online presence.

Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.).
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a remote team and manage deadlines.
- Passion for connecting with people and sharing their stories.

Time Commitment:
- Flexible, approximately 4–6 hours per month.

Opportunity Details

We offer tailored corporate volunteering programs designed to strengthen your company's social impact while supporting vulnerable populations. These opportunities include:

1. In-kind contributions and events. Activity Timeline: 2-4 weeks for collection, 1 day for the event. Company employees organize an internal collection based on needs identified by our organization, such as school supplies, clothing and shoes in children’s sizes, or toys. On a meaningful date, staff members visit a children’s home to deliver the items and host a celebration with the children.

2. Infrastructure improvements. Activity Timeline: 1 day. Employees visit the facilities of a partner organization to carry out previously identified improvement projects, bringing required supplies such as paint, tools, trees, shovels, or construction materials.

3. Institutional development. Activity timeline: To be defined on a case-by-case basis. Company employees volunteer their professional expertise to address organizational challenges aligned with their area of specialization. Identified needs may include communication strategies, website or social media management, accounting, administration, logistics, human resources, or legal and tax advisory services.

Key Considerations:

• Validated organizations: The Foundation collaborates exclusively with other nonprofit organizations that have a proven track record of impactful work for underserved population groups such as children and youth, people with disabilities, the elderly and families. We prioritize proximity, safety, accessibility, and alignment with the company’s desired focus areas.

• Administrative fee: To ensure professional coordination that meets both company objectives and high logistical standards, the Foundation requires an administrative fee that is determined depending on the complexity of the activities and time required for planning and implementation. In return, a tax-deductible receipt (CFDI) will be issued to the company.

• Infrastructure projects: For infrastructure improvements, the company must provide the required materials and supplies based on a budget and needs list provided after site assessments and project approval.

Support MODUS (Make Change Market In-Kind Sponsor) who is providing a Community Engagement Activity. It will be "DREAM BIG" Wall of Dreams. The role would be engaging guests in the activity (encouraging people to contribute to the prompting question, explaining what it is, and why we're doing it)

All 2 volunteers at this station will be managing, and can rotate between the 2 following roles (note: all 2 "stations" are within the same area):

o ROLE 1 - CHECK IN: Greeting guests, checking in people, managing any donations, giving them YVR tote bags, free entrance cookie and market passport stamp card for the raffle

o ROLE 2 - RAFFLE TABLE: Managing guest "market passport" and distributing raffle tickets.

Our free, global nonprofit project, DogMap.info, deserves more attention than it is getting! Help us boost it and become the #1 app for dog owners around the world!

Our goal is to build a large community of engaged dog owners supporting assistance dog teams, who often struggle because of lacking quality assurance and funding.

Your Tasks could be:
- Let your passion as an engaged dog lover shine!
- Brainstorm and optimize marketing strategies.
- Brainstorm/create lead magnets and email cycles.
- Help us improve our Salesforce and email routines.
- Advise on best practices and try new ideas.
- Create content for our websites and media outreach.
- Establish a global network of active supporters.
- Increase engagement and growth.
- Contribute and implement fundraising strategies.

You need to have a strong passion for assistance dog teams and a good background in marketing, PR, fundraising and/or social media.

Timeline, duration, etc. is flexible, as is your location, as this is a virtual opportunity. However, if you commit to a project, we count on you to finish it.
