The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the number one walk in the country raising awareness and funds to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The walk plays a key role in funding Best Buddies programs dedicated to one-to-one friendships and leadership development for individuals with IDD. Each walk provides an opportunity to see the Best Buddies mission in action at a local level. Since the walk’s inception in 2009, more than 70,000 participants in 46 cities have walked to raise awareness for inclusion, friendship and opportunity for people with IDD.

Our Philadelphia Friendship Walk will bring together supporters from across eastern PA at the King of Prussia Mall for a fun-filled day that celebrates our mission and raises funds to help us make an impact in new schools and communities here in our area. This year’s Friendship Walk is on track to be our largest event to date and we’ve got lots of family friendly activities in store. Attendees will enjoy music, vendors, refreshments and get a chance to hear from our Best Buddies Ambassadors about how our mission has impacted their lives. Then we’ll kick off Friendship Walk itself, which will wind through the largest mall on the east coast. After the walk, guests can enjoy exclusive deals from participating retailers with proceeds benefitting Best Buddies. So lace up your walking/shopping shoes and be sure to meet us at the mall!

Every 4.5 minutes a child is diagnosed with AUTISM, according to the CDC. In fact, autism has become more common in our children than cancer, diabetes and AIDS combined! Join us as a volunteer and help B.I.A.N.C.A. create a brighter future for over 8,100 children with autism in San Diego County & their families.

B.I.A.N.C.A. is a 100% volunteer-run non-profit organization with no paid staff, dedicated to serving children struggling to cope with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). We provide help and give hope by providing reliable information, promoting best practices, and offering comprehensive resources for families, practitioners, and communities.

We are looking for volunteers to help during our auction. Please consider volunteering your time to help us raise the funds necessary to continue to help families in our community access critical services and much-needed support.

We are looking for volunteers to help record the winners of the silent & live auctions and distribute the winning items. There is no public speaking involved :)
