'Mozgásjavító' School organizes a sport selection day for young people with mobility and visual impairments. The aim of the event is to give disabled children the opportunity to learn about the sports activities, which are available to them.
Para sports and their successful athletes are becoming increasingly popular. Several renowned institutions in Hungary have made it their vocation to support sports for people with disabilities. Yet the ongoing information and assistance campaigns cannot stop.
Many families with disabled children have difficulties in accessing sporting opportunities. This may be due to lack of information or infrastructural barriers, and the "Ne parázz!" Sports Day aims to overcome these barriers.
Participants can learn about a range of parasports. They can try streetball (basketball), tennis, karate, sitting volleyball, handball, tchoukball, rattle soccer ball, wheelchair fencing, curling, darts, table tennis, judo, shooting and many other activities. They can also meet champions, representatives, and role models of these sports. These events will strengthen the resolve and provide inspiration for those who want to play sports. There is also no secret intention to educate parents and to ensure the succession of parasports. The sports are presented by Paralympians and parasport athletes.
Sport activities provide a great platform for children and their parents to build relationships. Regular exercise also helps young people to live active and fulfilling lives, regardless of their disabilities.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us run the program and provide a great experience for all participants.
Partners: Hungarian Paralympic Committee, FODISZ (National Association of Disabled Students, Competitive and Recreational Sports), Mozgásjavító Student Sports Association, Paraktív Foundation
