Join us for the Grand Opening celebration of We Rock the Spectrum - Fort Myers for a day of fun with our trampoline, zip line, swings, face-painting, music, raffles, and delicious treats from our local neighborhood businesses. Plus, a few fun surprises for our attendees! We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym was founded to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. As the only kid’s gym that offers an inclusive philosophy, we have found all children can benefit from our uniquely designed sensory equipment that is specifically designed to aid children with sensory processing disorders.
In our experience, all children are able to benefit greatly from this equipment! By allowing children of all ability levels to play together, they are able to learn a great deal from each other.
What makes We Rock The Spectrum Kid’s Gym unique is that every one of our indoor playground locations includes ten pieces of specialized play equipment. These ten pieces of equipment are designed and manufactured for WRTS, with the developmental needs of children with sensory processing disorders in mind.
This equipment is sometimes used in our gyms by Occupational Therapists, who run sessions with the children they work with inside some gym locations. However – the equipment is also tested every day by the world’s foremost experts on having a good time: every kid who comes through our doors!
With your help, we will make this Grand Opening celebration one that the Fort Myers community will never forget!

Emergency Food Network partners with over 80 food pantries, shelters, and hot meal sites in Pierce County. Many of them rely almost entirely on volunteers to keep them running. There truly are tasks for people of all abilities and preferences, including packaging food, guest intake, delivery driving, shelf stocking, data entry, hot meal service, sharing healthy recipes, picking up donations from local stores and restaurants, sorting food, and working curbside to load food into guest vehicles.Due to Covid-19, food pantries are experiencing an increase in guest visits, with some sites seeing twice as many visits as in 2019. While many locations have support from the National Guard, this assistance will gradually be phased out towards the end of July, leaving many volunteers roles waiting to be filled. With pantries located throughout Pierce County, there is bound to be an opportunity that can work with your schedule.
We would love to help you find a food pantry to volunteer with that fits your schedule. Just let us know your preferences, and we will help put you in touch with right pantry so you can get started!
