Erie's first 24-hour hockey game fundraiser will take place Friday, September 14 - Saturday, September 15 at the new Erie Bank Sports Park. The entire marathon game will be broken up into 16 sessions or mini-games, with a running overall score for the entire event. The Best Buddies Leadership Breakfast is a networking/fundraising event where guests are invited to enjoy an inspirational breakfast and learn how participating in Best Buddies can have a lasting impact on individuals with and without IDD. All will leave feeling inspired and motivated to help end the social, physical and economic isolation of 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are requesting five (5) volunteers to help check in and direct attendees, answer questions and facilitate our live auction and fund the need appeal.Available Shifts

Join other Kohl's associates for a short volunteer shift helping at the Dog Check-In gate at the Renaissance Festival.Never volunteered at the dog check-in? No problem!
Pet dogs are allowed to accompany Renaissance Festival attendees throughout the event. During your shift, you will check-in these dogs by collecting the information form and pet fee from the owner, verifying that the dog’s vaccinations are up to date, collecting the dog’s ID photo (or taking one for an additional fee), and distributing a numbered tag for the dog’s collar. Ages 16 or older can help!

Hospice of the Valleys will be hosting its 22nd annual Wine & Chocolate fundraiser on Saturday, September 22 at Fazeli Cellars Winery in Temecula from 5-10pm. The event will not only raise funds for the non profit, but will also celebrate Hospice of the Valleys' 35th anniversary.The event includes tastings of food, beer/wine, dessert, and a seated dinner.
