These individuals represent the communities we serve and are highly motivated, passionate and dedicated to being the driving force behind the changes we want to see in our communities and the systems that affect us. Abundance of Hope Center Board Member Expectations:
➔ Support AofH mission statement.
➔ Work as a positive team member with fellow Board Members and AofH staff in equitable and innovative
solutions.
➔ Be passionate about At-Risk youth.
➔ Be unsatisfied with the status quo.
➔ Share skills and expertise.
➔ Respect and support the majority decision of the Board.
➔ Actively participate in Board meetings, actions, fundraisers and public events.
➔ Volunteer and assist in AofH’s youth engagement programs and activities.
➔ Understand and implement AofH’s Holistic approach in all decisions.
➔ Have no more than three (3) consecutive unexcused absences from board meetings and/or activities.
➔ Represent all those whom this organization serves.
➔ Remain vigilant of the activities that are planned and make yourself available to participate.
➔ Declare conflicts of interest as it pertains to your position on the Board and abstain from voting when
appropriate.
➔ Do your best to ensure that Abundance of Hope Center is well-maintained, financially secure, growing
and always operating in the best interest of the youth

The Foundation Fighting Blindness is looking for volunteers to assist with event operations at our upcoming Indianapolis VisionWalk fundraiser. Come socialize with the Unicorn Centers' Day Activity Programs while playing games, doing arts and crafts and other fun activities.The Unicorn Centers' programs provide our customers with an active, vibrant day program. Our team works closely with our customers, adults with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD), to be included in a community based environment where we help them learn, improve and retain life skills that are necessary to live and participate successfully in the workplace, home and community.
Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age.
• Volunteers will follow the same enterprise guidance for coming onto USAA campus or participating in field work. Employee must have had a negative covid test within 7 days of participating in this event. For more information on how to test, review this FAQ and visit go/RemoteCovidTesting to order tests. Follow all protocols required by the nonprofit.
• New Feature! Submit pictures to this volunteer event through the USAA Serves Mobile App - Should you choose to upload pictures from your volunteer experience, you are consenting to the use of your pictures and image by USAA as we see fit, internally or externally. Further, if there are non-employees in the picture(s), you warrant that you are able to grant the same permissions to use on their behalf.

• Guess what!?! Your volunteer hours for this event will be tracked automatically within 3 days of the event. If you need to return to add, guest volunteer time, please do so after the 3 day timeframe.
