Green Bay MDA Muscle walk event is a time for our clients, partners and local community members to get together in support of those living with neuromuscular disease. We are anticipating over 350 participants to walk, run, and roll in our 2020 MDA Muscle Walk.

Opportunity Details

Help us paint, clean and renovate our community room. We have a common space at our In-Home Supports Program that needs some love and care.
The Community Room is a meeting area where our clients can come and join in self-advocacy groups, nutrition classes, socialization, and even some holiday meals. More than 30 individuals with intellectual disabilities access this room daily to connect with one another and to decrease the isolation they experience. Our goal is to deep clean, replace furniture, repair and paint walls, add art work and make it comfortable again.

Volunteer with the Unicorn Center’s Day Activity Program for an afternoon of Bingo. Volunteers are needed to call Bingo and assist our customers in checking their bingo cards. Have fun helping the Unicorn customers recognize their letters and numbers.

The Unicorn Center’s programs provide our customers an active, vibrant day program. Our team works closely with our customers, adults with IDD ( Intellectual Developmental Disabilities), to be included in a community-based environment where we help them learn, improve and retain the life skills that are necessary to live and participate successfully in the workplace, home and community life.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age.
