USAA Bingo EventsVolunteer with the Unicorn Center’s Day Activity Program for an afternoon of Bingo. Volunteers are needed to call Bingo and assist our customers in checking their bingo cards. Have fun helping the Unicorn customers recognize their letters and numbers.
The Unicorn Center’s programs provide our customers an active, vibrant day program. Our team works closely with our customers, adults with IDD ( Intellectual Developmental Disabilities), to be included in a community-based environment where we help them learn, improve and retain the life skills that are necessary to live and participate successfully in the workplace, home and community life.
Volunteers must be 21 years of age.

Danceability is looking for a board member experienced in the field of Human Resources to serve on our Board of Directors.

Danceability is seeking volunteers to work one on one with our dancers in dance class, Danceability serves over 150 dancer annually and dancers range in ages from 3-adult. They are challenged with special needs like Down syndrome, autism, seizure disorders, cerebral palsy and emotional and mental disorders, among many others. Dancers (over 16) are asked to commit 1 hour a week to the same dancer from September - May, with the exception of holidays and illness. Dancers and their volunteers (who need NO dance experience) will perform in the end of year community performance.

VisionWalk is a FUN fundraising event of the Foundation Fighting Blindness, a 501C3 tax-exempt organization. Over 10 million Americans are affected by blinding retinal diseases including macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa and Usher syndrome. The Foundation Fighting Blindness is working to find treatments and cures for these devastating diseases.We are looking for volunteers to help with everything that will help make walk day a success! From setting up the event early in the morning, to staffing our tents (Registration, T-shirts, Refreshments, Resources), to helping with kid's activities, greeting walkers, staffing the walk route, and helping us clean up afterward. They are all pretty easy assignments.

Opportunity Details
MSS is seeking volunteers to assist program staff in bringing a group of individuals with disabilities out into the community. Volunteers will serve as companions to adults with disabilities, offer explanations of events and help make the experience enjoyable. Volunteers may be asked to push wheelchairs or walk arm-in-arm to offer physical support. Any admission costs will be covered by MSS. Outings may occur any day of the week Mon-Fri between 9:30am-1:00pm. Volunteers may experience outings such as museums, galleries, movies, picnics and more! Must be comfortable engaging adults with disabilities. Must be able to pass a background check. Opportunities available at any of our 6 locations: Apple Valley, Eagan, St Paul Shoreview, Oakdale, or Brooklyn Park
