The United Ability Junior Board invites you to volunteer at the 3rd annual abiliTEE Golf Classic, a golf tournament honoring ALL abilities.Volunteers will assist during the event by being assigned to on-course challenges (such as Beat the Pro) and selling opportunities to participate in them. One pair of volunteers may also ride on a golf cart through the course during the event to sell raffle tickets for a limited number of quality prizes.
The abiliTEE Golf Classic is more than a fun day on a great golf course - it also raises funds and awareness to support the mission of United Ability: to provide innovative services connecting people with disabilities to their communities and empowering individuals to live full and meaningful lives.
By focusing on the ABILITIES of our participants, we are able to bring mobility to individuals who were once told they would never walk, ride a bike, or move beyond a wheelchair. We are able to bring communication to individuals who never thought they would have a voice. We are able to facilitate inclusion in environments from day schools for building awareness at an early age to corporate environments for meaningful employment and independence. With only a few hours of your time, you will become a meaningful part of these milestones and more in the lives of the individuals we serve.

Returning runners will enjoy a few slight changes to the start/finish line and the official race route, which will take participants through the park and around their favorite attractions. To learn more about our event partner, please visit worldsoffun.com. The 5k course will have long stretches of gravel that would be difficult with a stroller. We would advise against using a stroller to avoid any issues while on the 5k course. The 1k course will be completely paved and stroller friendly.
The start/finish line will also host a resource fair to showcase companies that offer services and support for families touched by Autism. Please see Sponsor information on this website to find out more about hosting a vendor table for your organization!
