It is a black tie optional event that showcases all the best Erie has to offer. Bike MS: Cape Cod Getaway (CCG) is an annual charity ride for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.Each year, CCG hosts 2,000 riders and raises $2.75 million for Multiple Sclerosis research, programs, and services.
Volunteer groups are needed at our route rest stops throughout Cape Cod. Corporate groups have the opportunity to support our fundraiser, while taking advantage of branding and advertising opportunities within the Bike MS community.
Rest Stop volunteers set-up and decorate the site, distribute snacks, lunch, and water to riders, and cheer on the riders, creating a positive and fun atmosphere at Bike MS!

Opportunity Details
Candlelighters Fun Walk is our largest family fundraiser of our event year. Families of children with cancer come together in honor of their child to raise funds to pay it forward to families who find themselves along similar journeys. The event hosts more than 500 people and raises more than $200,000 for Candlelighters, a local Houston non-profit that provides every day support to children with cancer.100% of profits raised through the Fun Walk will be used to directly impact the lives of children with cancer and their families specifically by sending approximately 50 families to our family camp (Camp CLIFF) in the fall. Thank you for being a part of this mission!

Do you enjoy social activities? Do you love art, music, moving around? Do you enjoy smiling, clapping, laughing, & bringing joy to others through your positive energy?Become a Volunteer Program Host with Tidewater Arts Outreach.
Program Hosts help our organization at our music & arts programs in nursing homes & assisted living facilities in Hampton Roads (includes the Peninsula & Southside.) Hosts are scheduled in 1-2 hour increments, during music or arts programs. They assist the artist in handing out supplies & instruments, as well as, in encouraging participants to engage with the music, art, movement & the group.

Programs change month-to-month. Program Hosts are noted in event details when confirmed. (Ex: “Program Host: First + Last Name”) Our schedule is diverse and varied, there's never a dull moment with Tidewater Arts Outreach.
The perfect person for this role is:
* Outgoing, friendly personality
* Has a clear speaking voice & desire to serve older adults with special needs.
* Willing to ask general survey questions to participants & facility staff at end of each program.
The volunteer will have excellent verbal communication skills time & management skills.
They will also work well independently.
