Be the muscle behind the MDA Muscle Walk! This life changing 1 to 3.1-mile walk is more than a fundraising walk! It’s a powerful experience that forges lifelong connections, celebrates families and the barriers they overcome and turns hope into answers. As a volunteer for the Northwest Arkansas Muscle Walk, you will have a variety of fun and inspiring options for participating in this event. including Registration, set up, clean booth management, and walk route assistance.

Opportunity Details

ShamROCK your way into St. Patrick’s Day! MDA's iconic St. Patrick's Day fundraiser is supported by more than 25,000 retailers in hometowns across America. Customers purchase a paper MDA shamrock at checkout to help individuals live longer and grow stronger. MDA provides all materials to participating retailers, including the paper shamrocks for customers and employees to put their name on to display after donating to our organization.
MDA volunteer, “Shambassadors,” visit store locations to say thank you, deliver supplies and prizes! Volunteers are also needed to:
• Call the retail locations
• Pack product kits (this opportunity is great for large groups!)

Opportunity Details

As the Muscular Dystrophy Association's largest national sponsor, the IAFF fuels MDA's mission to save and improve the lives of people affected by muscular dystrophy, ALS and other diseases that severely limit strength and mobility, helping them live longer and grow stronger.

Hang out with hometown heroes! Cheer on fire fighters as they “Fill the Boot” for MDA. You will pick up and distribute refreshments to the fire fighters as they raise crucial funds for MDA on street corners in your community. Help is also needed for set up, clean up and to join other volunteers and MDA staff to count money collected. Most of all, show appreciation to dedicated fire fighters who work tirelessly to help others.
