This is where CareerVillage.org comes in!CareerVillage.org's mission is to democratize access to career information and advice for underrepresented youth. We do that by crowdsourcing the answers to every question from every student about every career. The advice students get is tailored for them, it’s reliable, encouraging and inspirational. Together, we're building a massive open-access reference source that every online learner can access anytime, anywhere.

JA Finance Park® (JAFP) is a one-day volunteer opportunity with training included the morning of your day of service.JAFP is an innovation in education designed to prepare youth for success in the adult world. Students will learn what’s possible for their future if they take control of their financial future. This program helps students build a foundation upon which they can make intelligent lifelong financial decisions, including those related to income, expenses, savings, and credit.
This learning experience combines in-class learning from the educator with JA curriculum and a field trip to work with volunteers from the business community at JA Finance Park held at ACC Highland Campus.

LINC UP’s Rock the Block Street Festival is back creating an opportunity for neighbors, friends and local businesses to gather in Madison Square for a celebration of diversity and community.We hope you can join us Saturday, June 10th from 11:00am-4:00pm for a fun filled day featuring unique vendors, multi-cultural cuisine, a variety of entertainment, local art, informational and resource booths, activities for all ages and much more. With an expected 8,000 attendees and over 100 vendors and sponsors, Rock the Block is LINC UP’s opportunity to connect directly with our community and the residents we serve, while celebrating the diversity of Grand Rapids. The celebration will take place in Grand Rapid’s South Town neighborhood on Madison Avenue SE between Hall Street and Oakdale Street.

Marketing Opportunities:
Design marketing & communications strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities Constructing & facilitating marketing & communications materials to external parties such as media, stakeholders and potential clients helping to build strategic partnerships

Plan and execute campaigns for organizational promotion and events

Support and partner with Chief Development Officer and Chief Executive Officer on all fundraising initiatives. Assist in the Development and implementation of a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with donors.
Work with donor relation team to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to include corporate programs, foundation grants, & donations
Monitor all donor information; provide and present statistical analysis to senior leaders.
Coordinate and conduct meetings (in person, telephone & online) with donors, prospects, volunteers and key constituencies

Are you looking for a way to give back to your community and support the arts? Well, Queer Art Fest needs YOU! We're on the hunt for volunteer fundraisers who are ready to make a difference and support the amazing artists in our community, by helping us hit our goals for our March 2023 Fundraising Campaign.As we continue to grow, our need for financial support continues to increase. Our goal is to keep our events free for artists, free for the public and to pay our talent fairly and adequately. Your fundraising support allows us to grow and evolve. We have some very exciting events in our pipeline and can only make them a reality with your help!
We are asking our Fundraising Taskforce volunteers to set individual fundraising goals and share amongst your network from now until the end of March 2023. Donations of any amount are valued and appreciated by us! We will set up Zoom sessions or phone calls to share additional information about our organization, provide context for our fundraising needs and to discuss helpful tips and ideas on soliciting donations from your network. Joining our Taskforce should be low commitment and not be time consuming, with the only expectation being network outreach for donations and to send out invites to our upcoming fundraising events.
