This is a celebration event for students that qualified for the Championship Camp portion of the Youth About Business Summer Business Camp.We are hosting this segment to allow students to celebrate their accomplishments to date, network with program volunteers (you all!), and interact with each other before heading into the final portion of their competition.
During the event, we will host a breakout session where volunteers can discuss with students:
- Educational Background and Interests
- Career Trajectory and Work History
- Current Profession and Day-to-Day Duties
- Relevant skills that have helped along the way
- Advice for your "high school self"
There will also be a keynote segment with a senior leader at Moody's.

Volunteers needed to help run our concession stands at The Essence Festival in New Orleans, LA. Great way to be a part of all of the energy and excitement while working to give back and help a great cause. Funds raised help to support community activities and services for underserved communities. We really appreciate your support!Great for INDIVIDUALS or GROUPS.

The women of the Televerde Foundation need your support. Topics might include resume writing, parenting, public speaking, storytelling, email etiquette, or hair and make-up tips and tricks. We'd love to have you join our team to help women transitioning from prison learn things that most of us take for granted.

The Waukesha County Fair is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that impacts the lives of nearly 130,000 fairgoers in just 5 days! The Fair is run by a 15 member volunteer Board of Directors that help make the decisions to continue to sustain this event into the future. The Waukesha County Fair is proud of being the oldest county Fair in the state and the largest event held in Waukesha County. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to help us facilitate different facets of the Fair, specifically in our set-up, face-to-face exhibitor judging, clerking, and more!We would welcome any volunteers Sunday, July 17th from 10 - 6pm. Additionally, Monday, July 18th and Tuesday, July 19th from 3 - 8pm. There would be another opportunity on Wednesday, July 20th from 9 - Noon to help with many of the exhibit and judging areas. There would be direct interaction in a team environment with exposure to the public, exhibitors of all ages, and judges to help make it all come together.
It is our hope that you consider volunteering your time to help us continue to build leaders of tomorrow and make this family, friendly event a success to be enjoyed by all ages!

Help Onward Hope staff facilitate the Transformations Center Summer Camp! This program is for high schoolers experiencing foster care. We need volunteers to help staff supervise and engage with the teens and facilitate the camp program all summer. Our camp runs Monday through Friday from 9-5 through the end of July, and volunteers can sign up to serve in two hour shifts that work for their schedule.Onward Hope is a youth-focused, community-based non-profit and foster care and adoption agency, and we are the only alumni-founded and run organization in the state. Our mission is empowering and connecting youth and families today for a strong future tomorrow, and our vision is to enable at-risk youth to realize their full potential while becoming the leading transition, preservation, and permanency services corporation in Arizona.
The Transformations Center is a community center for young people aged 14 - 29 that have experienced foster care, juvenile justice, or other systems. The Center acts as a fun, safe, and effective space for youth to learn & gain life skills, make meaningful connections with peers, and achieve their greatest potential. With the help of community leaders, partners, and volunteers, the Center provides a wide variety of numerous opportunities that will change hundreds of lives for years to come.

Our 27th annual Circle of Women event will be held June 8th at Alverno College and proceeds benefit our economic empowerment and racial justice/gender equity programming across the organization.Orientation will be provided and several shifts or partial shifts are available.
