With the advent of funding bills like CARES, ARPA, and IIJA, an unprecedented amount of money is flooding through the government grant ecosystem. Many governments are struggling to keep up with the influx - for example, only 30% of the $25 billion in Emergency Rental Assistance funds has been spent thus far with a spending deadline by end of 2022.A lack of useful technology is the main bottleneck to help these programs scale their operations. USDR has identified and is building 3 separate solutions to commonly shared problem areas. However, we need to grow awareness of these solutions so that more people can benefit!
Goal of the project:
We are looking for 2 PMM volunteers to help run our 3 product launches in June and July.
This can include:
- Designing the go-to-market effort, including audience development and measurements
- Creating the product positioning, messaging, and the overall narrative
- Working with Comms on overall content strategy and calendaring
- Working with Product to write case studies, record demos, and share user insights
Thank you for raising your hand! Your work will enable smaller governments that cannot afford for-profit solutions to find the help they need.
<10 hours/week for 3 months.
We’d like the volunteer to onboard immediately as ramping up usually take a few weeks, but expect the bulk of the project to be in June and July.

Help us create impact for 225 Black and Brown social impact founders, and the 90,000 people they'll help over the next 2 years! We're Represented Foundation. We're a Brooklyn, NY - based nonprofit on a mission to close the diversity gap in social impact leadership. Right now we're seeking some incredible people! We're looking for Marketing, IT, User Experience and Product Management experts who want to make a difference by enhancing our Community Portal on our website for a very special purpose.
One of our core initiatives at Represented Foundation is Service Groups; -- where we pair teams of high-skilled volunteer consultants with Black and Brown social impact leaders, for short-term, collaborative, community-based engagement projects. (Projects are in different areas including business development, marketing/communications and financial operations for typically six-week periods.)
We've implemented Service Groups twice before, each time using a manual matching system for volunteers and entrepreneurs. To increase impact, scale the opportunity and help more Black and Brown social impact founders get exactly the support they need, first we need to find an online solution that allows both types of participants to either vote for, or self-select their projects or volunteers.
We're asking for the right UX, Marketing, Sales or tech-based volunteers to:
- map and design the volunteer / entrepreneur user experiences
- find the best software add-ons or compatible software solutions for our community portal
- build out our 'Service Groups' profile matching page
- provide landscape research on similar volunteer engagement platforms
- review and enhance our sales strategy for corporate partners
As a nonprofit, our mission at Represented Foundation is to close the diversity gap in Social Impact Leadership. We want to see racial parity achieved among our leaders, leading to better solutions and healthier communities for everyone. By the year 2043 when people of color are half of the US population, we want to see half of social impact leaders be people of color as well.
