Generation aims to provide access to life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible to our learners. We do this through bootcamps designed to provide young people with the key skills required to thrive in specific entry-level roles.

Many of these learners do not know anyone who currently works in the field they aspire to join. Masterclasses are a unique opportunity to provide them with a real life perspective on your profession.

This opportunity would consist in you providing a masterclass to students in your field of expertise, for ~30min. Available for different fields: Digital marketing, Java, general employability

Aidlink works to reach some of the most disadvantaged women and children in Kenya and Uganda. With our small team we deliver life-changing access to water and sanitation, education and economic opportunities. To ensure families have the best chance of leading healthy and fulfilling lives.

But we need some help. With corona virus forcing our hand, and moving all our fundraising opportunities into the digital realm, we need to pivot and look to better the resources already at our disposal. Aidlink are working to build brand awareness and drive users to our site, but we need help turning that visit into something more, driving action and ultimately getting visitors to heed our calls to action. That's why we're asking for a UX designer, or development team, to look at our website and help us out.

We believe a UX designer (or development team) could help us turn website visits into donations. We need to ensure accessibility, relevance, an easily navigated site, we need to better our calls to action - all with the goal of turning our website into an income stream.

SAFOD has implemented activities over the past 30 years, strengthening the Disabled Peoples Organizations (DPOs) through training, research, information-sharing, etc. However, People with Disabilities (PWDs) continue to face many challenges. They are still denied opportunities to participate on an equal basis with others, hence can be left behind in our efforts to achieving the SGDs. It is against this background that SAFOD wants to raise more resources that are needed for delivering on its obligations toward PWDs in all the ten countries where SAFOD operates.

SAFOD advocates for PWDs' rights and nurturing its affiliates in Southern Africa to ensure promotion of inclusive development and human rights for PWDs. Unlike the MDGs, the SDGs now have disability integrated into the monitoring and evaluation framework. To achieve this, we are seeking to achieve the following objectives for which the volunteers are expected to contribute:
(i) to deepen the partnerships with traditional development partners;
(ii) to diversify the donor base; and
(iii) to help improve internal capacity for resources mobilization.

This opportunity also come at a very opportune time when SAFOD is in the process of developing and implementing a COVID-19 Response Strategy for PWDs in Southern Africa. It is therefore envisaged that the volunteer(s) will spend much of their time helping to mobilize resources for operationalization of the response strategy.
