Join Memphis Habitat and Republic Services to help revitalize part of the Castalia Heights neighborhood! We’ll help landscape yards, clean up debris, prune back bushes and trees to help make the community cleaner and safer for our neighbors! Afterward, we’ll have a party with our neighbors, other community organizations, music, games, info tables and more!

Opportunity Details

This Project will allow individuals to have clean and sanitized bottle for water, hygiene products, toiletries and prevent hunger by providing non-perishables food. Your donations financially or in-kind will go a far way with providing individuals with the care packages. Every month a group of volunteers head-out into a respect borough of New York City and distribute care-packages to our cities homeless population.

Rotary Club of Space Center's major fundraiser of the year. This community event provides food, fun and festivities for the whole family. All funds raised will go back into the local community through HS scholarships, First Responder Awards, Education Leadership enrichment programs and Worldwide to Eradicate Polio, provide Clean water solutions and much more.

This art auction serves as our annual fundraiser to raise operations and infrastructure costs for Escuela Adelante, a first of its kind bilingual school in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. We highlight art and music of Central America and provide food and drink. This year in particular, Nicaragua has suffered devastating blows to its economy, jeopardizing our ability to keep programs open and high quality. Helping Link is looking for pro-bono services from a bookkeeper with accounting experience in QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:
- Process monthly accounting activities, payroll, bank reconciliations, maintain accounting financial files
- File 990 and other tax documents
- Prepare monthly report for Board of Directors meeting (3rd Monday each month)
- Assist with budget as requested for grant applications and/or other needs
