Volunteers can serve by collecting, sorting and preparing boxes of food for a monthly distribution. Other opportunities include engaging with individuals and families as they pick-up food and assist with loading vehicles with food boxes.

Plenty of bottled water and snacks will be available. Remember to dress for the weather, as we are serving outside..... warm, cold, rain or shine!

At 4MyCiTy, Our focus is on the Importance of Environmental Sustainability. Primarily the Sustainable Management of Food in relation to reducing organic waste. Our program limits the harmful effects caused by organic waste on our environment while improving food security for families within our communities.

When you volunteer with us you will learn about how we rescue food on a daily basis and get it into the hands of families that need it. Additional educational opportunities will revolve round our environmental sustainability plan to divert food waste from our landfills and incinerators to our composting sites. Chicago-area mentoring opportunity! Help support community college students on their paths to success. Volunteer just a few hours a month and make a profound difference in the lives of One Million Degrees (OMD) scholars.

OMD Volunteer Coaches meet with their scholar match in-person once a month during the academic year. Coaches help scholars set goals, build their network, navigate college and career exploration, and work through challenges in school, work, and life.

Every month on the first Friday, our organization performs a FOOD DISTRIBUTION DRIVE THRU. We give away groceries to all families that are in need. The distribution doesn't require families to leave their cars. All volunteers just put the groceries in the trunk.

It is important we end food insecurity in our communities.

The organization has started using Salesforce CRM for creating greater impact. We need a few customizations in Salesforce so that it will be more relevant to the work of the organization.

If someone can volunteer us for the customization and mentor us in using the CRM then it will be of great help to the cause. It will also help us in increasing the transparency of the work.
