Volunteer Needs:
We are seeking a few people to help us with a fundraising breakfast at the Four Points Sheraton in Bellingham on Tuesday, March 13th. Volunteers will help set up the morning of with nametags and simple decorations. As the guests arrive, volunteers will great the guests and help them to find their nametag and their seats. During the event volunteers will be able to participate and watch the hour long, inspiring program. After the event is a quick cleanup and you're out the door. A quick, easy, and fun volunteering opportunity!

All proceeds from the event directly support the Rialto Theatre Foundation's mission of protecting and programming the historic Rialto Theatre and 191 Toole performance venues.
The Rialto Theatre Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the stewardship and management of the historic Rialto Theatre, offering diverse entertainment, and working to revitalize downtown Tucson, Arizona while providing a place where varied groups and cultures are represented. The Foundation also supports educational and vocational outreach organizations, public broadcasting, museum programs, and public health benefits organizations, while collaborating with groups that support the development of the arts.

Roar Through Ybor – Race for Sight is an annual 5K event and 1 mile Fun-Run that benefits the mission of the Lions Eye Institute Foundation to:· Enable our Ocular Research Center to conduct research to prevent, arrest or delay the progression of blinding eye diseases.
· Support the process by which we recover and ensure that ocular tissue is safe for transplantation.
· Transform lives by ensuring that all individuals who need a corneal transplant can receive one regardless of their ability to afford the sight-saving surgery.
Join this fun-filled community event on April 20th and join our crew of volunteers! Tasks can include check-in, cheer section, food area and much more! We hope to see you there.

Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. The JA Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser helps provides the funding needed for these programs. Opportunity Details
Habitat for Humanity of Marion County hosts its signature fundraising event called the Habitat Strawberry Festival in order to raise enough funds to build a home for a qualifying family in need. To hold a successful event, we recruit over 1,000 volunteers to assist from parking, kid zone, ticket booth sales, Strawberry Jam 5K, strawberry sales, etc. throughout the entire day. Without volunteers, Habitat would not be able to host such an event and raise funds for this worthy cause. The North Carolina Military Veterans Hall of Fame will be having it's inaugural ceremony weekend of events!On Friday May 18th, there will be a golf tournament and meet and greet.
On Saturday May 19th, there will be a morning parade, and later that evening the weekend will culminate with a dinner and the inauguration of the class of 2018.
A silent auction and reception will precede the evening gala.
*Military dress or business/ formal wear only.
**Volunteers do not need to purchase a ticket.
Normal attendants, who are not volunteers, must RSVP by purchasing an individual ticket or reserving a table.
Distinguished guests will include: Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, Lieutenant General Cornell Wilson, State of North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, State Secretary Jim Prosser and others dignitaries from the military, public and political worlds.
**Volunteers will get to enjoy dinner and the ceremony as well.

Celebrating our 15th year of operation, Financial Beginnings Oregon’s mission is to empower youth and adults to take control of their financial futures. To accomplish this, we partner with schools and community-based organizations across the state to provide free financial education to the communities they serve, preparing participants of all ages to make healthy, proactive financial decisions. Since our founding, we have provided free financial education to more than 170,000 Oregonians, including more than 13,000 last year.All of our financial education programs are taught by trained volunteers, and we are looking for new volunteers to help us create even more financial education opportunities across the state!
New volunteers at Financial Beginnings Oregon receive a thorough introduction to our work before getting into the classroom. This includes an orientation and training session, and the opportunity to shadow an experienced volunteer to get a feel for our programs. Once you are ready to get out and teach, we will provide you with all the necessary materials to make your lesson a success: pre-made powerpoint presentations that include presenter's notes, guides for the students to help them follow along, hands-on activities for the classroom, and more. To help protect everyone's health and safety during the pandemic, all of our programs are being taught virtually, so you can teach from the comfort of your own home!
Our volunteers come from all walks of life. We don't require you to be financial professionals, or to come from any specific background. All we ask is that you, like us, believe that our community can benefit from simple personal finance lessons!
