Small businesses are the character of our communities. The bakery that makes your favorite cupcakes, the store that sells those one-of-a-kind-shirts and hats you love, your barbershop, comic book shop, coffee shop — anywhere you shop. That list goes on and on. Small businesses make your neighborhood, town, or city unique, but they’re also on the decline across America. And now, more than ever, they need our support.

With PCVs has new series of webinar style offerings entitled "Ask Me Anything (AMA): Expert Office Hours", with just one hour of your time, you can provide that support. It's the best type of volunteering: it's 100% remote, leverages the skills you have, and has a big impact for small businesses and the communities they serve.

We'd love to invite you to host an AMA session with us and share your experience and expertise with our community of small business owners! We'd just need a few things from you in order to get started:
- A brief bio we can use when inviting entrepreneurs (who you are, what you do, why you joined PCV, etc.)
- A list of what categories of questions you can answer / topics you can speak to
- A few dates / times you're available (please allow two weeks notice, which will give us enough time to spread the word.)

ENGLISH:

Volunteering in a Finance Department can sound boring, but at 26 Letters it is quite the opposite. Our finance team, or “26 Letters’ Rich Aunts” as we call ourselves, are the funniest team you will ever find! Besides, 26 Letters is only possible thanks to the amazing work of the team. On the moment, our finance team is working very hard on ensuring that our families receive our humanitarian aid boxes each month. These boxes contain the food, medicines, sanitary and hygiene products and baby products that they need to survive every month. Our aim is to deliver these packages every month to a total of 700 people while starting to incorporate another 1000 people that are currently waiting to be included in the program.

The department’s main objective is simple: to establish collaborations and find the necessary funding to deliver these packages. The means of achieving this are completely up to the creativity of our volunteers! Every two weeks, the team gathers at an online meeting to share and put forward new ideas. After the meeting, each volunteer stablishes their own objectives, as well as the time they are going to invest in fulfilling said objective and whether they will do it independently or collectively.

26 Letters’ rich aunts work from all around the world and they each have different skills and interests. This is what makes the department so interesting and ever-changing. Join the team and realise how far an idea can go!
