The Warrick Parks Foundation (WPF) is thrilled to have been asked to provide the Volunteer Parking Lot Attendants for the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Championship. 100% of parking revenue will be donated to the WPF to help maintain our beautiful parks and trails. We will need a lot of volunteer help to pull this off. We welcome anyone who loves the parks and trails or even businesses who would like to obtain service hours. The Youth Programs, Leadership Development Specialist (LDS) will gain hands-on experience in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual setting assisting in the coordination and delivery of social services programs. The applicant will gain experience working for a well-established nonprofit serving Seattle’s Latino community and other communities of color, opportunity to learn about non-profit programs in the context of youth empowerment and development.
The Leadership Development Specialist will support with the operation of Hope for Youth- Roberto Maestas Leadership Institute, that support high school aged youth through ethnic studies, identity development, and community advocacy. LDS will support with registration into programs, update database tracking & assist in program operations, designing workshops exploring leadership styles, social justice action and leading the design of a community service learning opportunity. Creating monthly workshops, design a social media campaign will be among the main areas of focus.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Flexible, patient, and sensitive when working with low performing students
• Able to communicate in English and Spanish
• Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnic Studies, Social Work or Education Major preferred but not required

The Mentor Program at Brooklyn Music School (BMS) is geared towards high schoolstudents who would like to pursue music, dance, or musical theater at a deeper level. The Mentor Program provides the opportunity for students to mentor and serve as role models for younger BMS students while receiving mentorship and guidance from professionals. Mentors learn leadership, team-building skills, the ins and outs of stage setup, and production.
Since the Mentor Program is directed toward youth development, the Mentors are able
to participate in an eclectic variety of workshops geared toward professional
development. These opportunities include artist-led workshops, financial development workshops, and music technology seminars.
