This volunteering program offers a transformative experience by connecting our learners with global professionals in monthly/weekly sharing sessions. This program enables our learners to gain personal and professional insights, supporting our mission to empower through education. Our learners engage with our learning platform, Ed the Learning Bot, where they can explore various subjects and earn points. Once they accumulate the required points, they register for the session and upload their points for verification, ensuring their commitment to learning. Each session is designed to provide practical knowledge and perspectives essential in today’s interconnected world.

Main tasks:
As a volunteer, you will be expected to:
- Share your professional and personal experiences and practical knowledge with our learners through an engaging session.
- Facilitate Q&A sessions to address our learners' queries related to the topic discussed.

The goal of the Walkathon is to raise $20,000 to support the youth who participate in our summer and afterschool programs at Brandon House Cultural & Performing Arts Center. This year’s Walkathon is the start to something BIG as our theme is “walking to transform the lives of our youth.” Arts education and performing arts for underserved youth is needed now more than ever, as arts are being taken out schools or access to art programs has been diminished greatly. WEConnect International will be hosting the Finance & Environmentally Sustainable Business Practices Boot Camp for women business owners on July 16, 17, 23, and 24 in partnership with Moody's.

We are looking for volunteers to support this training which helps to provide education and industry expertise on sustainability principles that can empower women entrepreneurs to grow their business.

As volunteers, we need your assistance in presenting a specific training session. On-boarding and training will be provided to all presenters and note this training will be run in English.

Presenter(s): These volunteers will act as subject matter experts and deliver a training session on a specific topic – sustainability, financial decision making, business strategy, and how to pitch a sustainable message. The presenter will be provided with a pre-designed curriculum in PowerPoint and will be provided with a facilitator’s guide. These volunteers should have experience presenting these topics to adult learners and an understanding of how these topics are or can be applied in Nigeria.
