We are looking to select a cohort of Moody’s employee volunteers and to serve as subject matter experts and build Nest's "Masterclass Series: Scaling Your Enterprise" for artisan small business leaders around the world. The Masterclass is comprised of 3 consecutive virtual learning courses and a complimentary toolkit.

With support and guidance from Nest, Moody's employees will design and record virtual courses to be shared with artisan business leaders in an asynchronous format, giving volunteers flexibility to support in their own time.

The toolkit should share supplemental learning resources to the courses, enabling business owners to “take-home” guides, templates and exercises. An additional live workshop could be added to the series. Course topic suggestions include:

- Data-driven Decision Making
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation Strategies
- Sustainable Finance

Requirements to build this Masterclass Series & Toolkit:

- Masterclass Needs: 5-8 employees with subject matter expertise in one or multiple of the topic areas above. A single instructor or pair of instructors may co-lead a course to provide one another support or complementary perspectives on a topic.

- Toolkit Needs: 2-4 employees with subject matter expertise to contribute 2 hours each over several weeks in August & September toward resources, templates, and guides to incorporate into an accompanying toolkit.

- Time: Each asynchronous course is approximately a 6 hour time commitment over several weeks in August & September. We may also host an additional live workshop in September or October. All volunteers must participate in an Orientation Session on July 29, 30, or 31.

Mentorship
Following the Masterclass Series: Scaling Your Enterprise, employees will meet one-on-one or in intimate groups with business owners to further build on the learnings from the series, and to openly share regional specific challenges, with dedicated time allocated to work through these topics with their mentor or mentors.

The QBE AcceliCITY Resilience Challenge is one of the top startup accelerators of its kind in the world. We work with entrepreneurs from around the world who have developed some of the most promising solutions to create more sustainable and resilient communities.

This volunteer opportunity seeks evaluators for a pivotal moment in the AcceliCITY program-- selecting the startups that will be invited to join this year's cohort.

Volunteers will receive materials, including instructions and applications for review, by May 10th. Each volunteer will then have until May 23rd to review their assigned applications and complete the evaluation form for each applicant. This can be done independently on the volunteer's schedule, but all evaluations must be completed and submitted by the May 23rd deadline.

Though the exact number of assigned applications may vary based on the number of applicants and evaluators, we aim to assign 6-8 applications per evaluator. Each evaluator can approach their review in their own way, we hear that it generally takes 20-30 minutes to review and evaluate a single application. Some evaluators will block one time to review all and submit their evaluations within hours or days of receiving the materials, others will spread the work out over nearly two weeks. The approach you take, is completely up to you.
