Annually, the Enactus Canada Regional Expositions bring together student, academic, and business leaders from across the country to celebrate the achievements of Canada’s entrepreneurs and future leaders. Through written reports and dynamic live presentations, students are evaluated by business leaders serving as judges, based on the economic opportunity they created for themselves and their communities. The competitive process and interactive programming create a “best-practice” sharing environment, foster innovation and encourage enhanced project results.

About the Conference:

The Etapas/Stages Conference, organized by the Shekinah Praise Agency, is a transformative two-day event dedicated to exploring and celebrating the dynamic journey of women's spiritual growth. Set for May 31 & June 1, 2024, in Providence, RI, this gathering aims to unite women from diverse backgrounds, fostering a space of understanding, enlightenment, and community.

Volunteer Role:

We're actively seeking passionate individuals who are committed to creating a memorable and impactful experience for all attendees. As a volunteer, you'll play an integral role in the success of the Etapas/Stages Conference, ensuring that each participant leaves feeling empowered and enriched.

Opportunities Available:

Registration & Welcome Team: Assist attendees with check-in, provide conference materials, and answer general queries.
Workshop & Session Assistants: Support speakers, manage session logistics, and ensure smooth transitions between segments.
Networking & Expo Facilitators: Guide attendees, manage booths, and assist exhibitors as needed.
Social Media & Photography Ambassadors: Capture event highlights, manage live updates, and engage with our online community.
Logistics & Setup Crew: Assist in setting up the venue, manage technical aspects, and ensure all facilities are in order.

Life skills workshop for children aims to equip them with essential skills and knowledge to navigate through life successfully. There are a total of nine essential lifeskills which are required by every human being.

Through these sessions, we cover topics like communication skills, problem solving, decision making, emotional intelligence, time management, financial literacy, negotiation skills, conflict management, handling peer pressure and leadership skills.

Latin women will enhance their business skills and stay ahead in their entrepreneurial journey holistically, one full of growth, learning, and empowerment.

NOTE: Volunteers must speak Spanish.

It is a program that starts on November 28, where the students will have virtual business classes (Tuesdays) and in-person wellness classes (Saturdays). They will learn how to implement business and management tools for the development, consolidation, sustainability of their business, while learning to take care ofthemselves and their families.

Volunteers responsibilities: They will be in charge of welcoming people at the entrance, checking their attendance, helping with basic logistic processes required at the office, helping to serve the food to the participants, organizing after the classes ends.

Physical requirements: This program will likely involve lifting, bending, and walking. Volunteers will be expected to wear closed-toed shoes for the duration of the program. If you think any of the physical requirements will be problematic, please let us know.

The Kelly Johnson Foundation is hosting its 6th annual Turkey Trot 5K on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at Mitchell Park in Brookfield, WI. The last 5 years have been quite a success in terms of fundraising, raising over $9,000 and shared many smiles over miles in the community. Race proceeds will help the Foundation support local high schools in the Midwest that have insufficient funding for after-school athletic and extracurricular programs and grow its Johnson Family Scholarship program. Since 2014, the Johnson Family Scholarship program has awarded 19 high school scholarships in Wisconsin and Illinois high schools. Participants are welcome to run, walk or stroll their way to the finish line. The 5K race will be timed, awards given out to the top male and female runners/age by division & overall male and female finishers and have a sponsored raffle with many prizes. We’re looking for energetic individuals and organizations to provide great customer service to our Turkey Trot 5K participants.

Please join us to volunteer for JA Inspire to Hire at the Kentucky Exposition Center January 30 & 31 from 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

JA Inspire builds a relationship-based pipeline between young people and companies who will need talent when the students complete their education. Employers will be able to introduce their career opportunities to emerging leaders and companies will have an opportunity to set up interviews with job ready young people. JA Inspire showcases a wide array of career opportunities from local businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions. Each booth at the event is designed to highlight career paths, educational prerequisites, and potential salary ranges, offering valuable insights to participating students.

Some of the various volunteer assignments available are:
Front Door Assistants: Welcoming and assisting attendees at the entrance.
Bus Coordinator Helpers: Supporting our transportation coordination team.
Exhibit Room Floaters: Assisting with the smooth flow of activities in the exhibit rooms.
Handing Out Bags/Lobby Flow: Distributing event materials and helping with lobby logistics.
