We have good news and need your help! The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership is excited to share that thanks to a generous grant from the Verizon Foundation, we are expanding our Small Businesses Need Us program to provide hands-on, capacity-building assistance to thousands of small business owners across the country who have been effected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are especially focused on making sure that black and Latinx business owners are being supported through this initiative.

We need your help with spreading the word to get business professionals involved as volunteers. During each event, Volunteer-Business Owner pairings are moved into individual breakout rooms to work on a specific deliverable for the duration of a 2-hour online Small Business Hackathon event. Each event has a single theme. We provide easy-to-use templates for the deliverables so there is virtually no advance work needed.

We are in need of volunteers for our upcoming dates and would love to have you and your team join us!

Swerve Robotics is looking for someone who has a passion for fundraising to lead our fundraising efforts. The current volunteers are kept very busy with running our programs and supporting our students. Without the fundraising, we cannot continue to develop our organization to be even more impactful in our own community.

You can support entrepreneurs and help close the wealth gap by offering one hour per week for 8 weeks. These are “one-on-one” sessions offer the entrepreneur the opportunity to ask for your expert and reliable advice. These sessions are scheduled via the Learning Community and are virtually hosted.

This is an opportunity to share your expertise with entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs access learning modules that focus on the business and private issues faced during growth and scale. As a volunteer, you can create a learning module on topics that align to your area of expertise or interest (e.g., marketing, finance, building community, legal etc.). Guidance will be provided.

At Just a Drop, we believe everyone, everywhere, should have access to clean water as a basic right. We want to see a world where everyone has clean water and adequate sanitation, and the increased health and prosperity this brings. Our approach is to support marginalised people across the world through community-led development, rather than aid; and to focus on sustainability and quality, ensuring a project's transformative impact is felt for decades to come.

We are in the process of improving our communication to our donors. We've done a lot of work around this and it's paying off! Now we are ready for the next step. We now need help with creating animations to illustrate stories, narrated by our founder. We have about 4 short clips of 2-3mineach, of our founder telling stories of the people she's met on site visit to our projects, and how their lives have changed since working with Just a Drop. We would really appreciate some help bringing these stories to life.

We are envisioning a simple informal style cartoon animation, with friendly characters, set in for example Uganda. But, we are very happy to have brainstorming sessions with you on the concept.

We are looking for volunteers to attend to assist in raising awareness and donations for local children with cancer. Our goal is to raise $1,000 through our stand.
