This summer, FBLA-PBL will be hosting its NLC in San Antonio, TX. Our hard-working, highly engaged students will participate in the competitive events program in a wide-ranging variety of business related events. To ensure the integrity of the process, these events require nearly 1,000 business professionals to volunteer as judges.
We hope that you and your friends/colleagues might be willing to give back to your community by serving as judges to help these students be creative, learn to lead, and inspire others.
On-site training, lunch, and parking will be provided to all volunteers. Additional resources concerning the judging process and event specifics can be found at our Judges Resource Center.
We appreciate you forwarding this email, and this flyer, to your friends and colleagues interested in helping to guide our student leaders to becoming tomorrow's business leaders.
Let us know if you would be interested in becoming a sponsor, presenting a workshop, or exhibiting to our energetic young leaders!

Integrating into a new country and a new city for the first time can be a challenge. This is true for all over the world. In Paris, we have many cultures. Though Paris is an international city, sometimes integrating with the French culture, finding friends, or finding community can be difficult without someone’s support who has already made this transition. The Serve the City Paris team of volunteers who have made this transition successfully can play a vital role in supporting newcomers to the great city of Paris.

The STCP team can help assign a volunteer with a new foreigner whether that foreigner is a refugee, an immigrant, or just a foreigner. The volunteer can provide all different levels of support, whether it’s help with a language, attending a STCP event together, or participating in one of STCP’s philanthropy projects together.

Please join us in support of our mission at the 2019 Woman UP & Celebrate events. With our recent acquisition of the Michigan Women’s Hall of Fame and Historical Center, and the Entrepreneur Institute of Mid-Michigan, as well as the expansion of our programs into Lansing, Kalamazoo and Jackson, we have made a statement with our bold new brand, Michigan Women Forward. A brand is more than a logo; it is a promise, and we promise to move women forward in our state.

It is, truly, because of our supporters, that Michigan Women Forward has expanded our impact and outreach. Because of them, more women have started and grown successful businesses. Because of them, 100% of the middle and high school girls participating in our summer camps reported that they will go on to higher education, having learned about high value careers, effective preparation for college, that entrepreneurship is an option and that they have unlimited potential. And, because of them, all 11,341 rape kits in the Detroit backlog have been tested.

Our Grand Rapids luncheon on April 18 will honor Meg Goebel, President, Paul Goebel Group and India Manns, Exemplary Community Leader with the 2019 Women of Achievement and Courage Award. It will once again be held at the JW Marriott and we’re thrilled that Rachel Mraz and Kathleen Vogelsang will serve as co-chairs. In 2018, our events grossed $1 million and this year we are committed to netting that amount!

We believe that we are here to help others and to make a difference in this world.

We are a community where we like to share our combined skill set to individuals, so that they can have an impact on their own. We also believe that people of all walks of life must have equal opportunities. However, this is not always the case.

Thus, during this session we will be handing out tools and teach methods to participants so they will learn new communication skills. After this session participants will e.g. probe and ask better questions, be able to present themselves more confidently, and empower others by sharing their knowledge and skill set.

Utah's first gathering of over 100 Latinx young adult (ages 18-25) leaders, in order to create an urgent collective vision that will guide us in leading and empowering our community! It’s a full day event with workshops, mini expo, roundtables, evening celebration, and collective visioning session.
Ideally, we seek volunteers that are Latinx (Hispanic, Latino/a) but are open to all volunteers. The main duties include helping with our registration table, guiding attendees to the right rooms, helping presenters setup, and other general event management duties. Once we know who is confirmed in volunteering, we would love for you to wear something that lets attendees know what workplace you’re volunteering from. This exposure to our attendees of potential career paths is great! If you are Latinx and within the age range, we would love for you to participate as an attendee! Check out the website to apply as an attendee.
