eMentor is a 5x award winning online mentoring program for military personnel, veterans and military spouses. eMentor connects individuals for dynamic mentoring experiences that powerfully move them forward in their personal and professional lives. Designed to bridge the gap between organizations and job seekers, eMentor offers support, trusted networking and success. Having a mentor who can provide insights into civilian careers and corporate hiring practices removes some of the anxiety of navigating a major life change, such as transitioning from active duty, reentering the civilian workforce or starting your own business. eMentor puts veterans and military spouses in virtual touch with corporate, career and entrepreneur mentors for guidance and support to assist in the specific challenges our military members, veterans and spouses face today.

eMentor is open to ALL officers, officers-in-training, and enlisted personnel whether on active duty, separated, retired from active duty, or reservist/guard in all of the services: U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marines, as well as all military spouses and widows(ers). Our program ensures that those who have gone through military training have the opportunity to benefit from a mentor who shares this common history or appreciation for the military community.

eMentor leverages the internet to create a dynamic information sharing, learning and support community that extends far beyond the veteran and military spouse network. Protégés can receive personalized career or business development guidance, advice, support and inspiration from more experienced veterans, spouses, career mentors and veteran-friendly employers. We also invite mentors, with or without a military experience, to join and assist protégés with their job search and other career challenges.

eMentor is the most unique and flexible mentoring program of its kind. For participants, the eMentor experience is 100% customizable based on the protégés’ needs and the mentors’ experience and availability. We encourage members of the eMentor community to connect with one of the flexible mentoring options that accommodate any schedule:
 One-on-one long-term connections
 Single “flash” mentoring sessions
 Group mentoring
 Discussion forums

Research shows mentorship is key to professionals’ career success, particularly for millennials, who will make up 75% of the workforce by 2025. Additionally, 69% of today’s 19-35 year old professionals prefer mentoring as their favored learning modality. Additionally, mentors in eMentor have reported: 89% experience an increase in leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills as a result of participating in the program; 87% would recommend eMentor to their colleagues and other service members; 79% have increased confidence and an increased understanding of the issues veterans and military spouses face today; 71% feel more connected with their professional community.

Please consider supporting the military community by financially supporting or volunteering with eMentor. Through supporters just like you, we've helped connect 13,000+ members for impactful and life changing mentoring and assisted 5,500+ veterans and military spouses find meaningful and sustainable employment.
