Greentech LatAm 2025: The Future of Sustainability will support early-stage companies who are creating locally viable solutions focused on cleantech and climate tech, agtech and food security, circular and regenerative economy, natural resource management, water sanitation, and health in Latin America. The companies will participate in 3 weeks of virtual workshops where they will have the opportunity to analyze their business from different perspectives and be better prepared to keep growing.

This session will happen during the first virtual workshop, where startups will meet with mentors (including Moody’s volunteers) to discuss client segmentation, their key assumptions, and their market feedback plans. We are looking for volunteers within the organization who can provide insight into the process of establishing the target customer for a product or service and finding the proper channels of customer acquisition and communication.

The session will follow this format:
-Introductions and Break into Small Groups: Each group will consist of 2+ mentors and two companies.
-Small Group Work: Each company will have 25 minutes to go over their customer discovery plan and get feedback from mentors.
-Full Group Debrief.

Before the Session:
-Volunteers will receive a calendar invitation and a Mentor Packet including information about the session and the companies one week before the session.
-The session will be held in Spanish.

Volunteers are welcome to participate in one or more program events.

Volunteer Shift Information
This opportunity offers complete flexibility, allowing you to contribute meaningfully while respecting your professional commitments:

Teaching Options:
Lead a structured course (typically 4-12 sessions)
Facilitate specialized workshops on specific topics
Provide one-on-one mentorship in your area of expertise

Time Commitment:
Course Instructor: 2-4 hours weekly for 4-12 weeks
Workshop Facilitator: One-time 2-3 hour sessions
Mentor: 1-2 hours weekly or bi-weekly

All activities are conducted virtually through our secure digital platform, allowing you to volunteer from anywhere with reliable internet access.

Selection Committee members commit to:
-Be ambassadors for the program, spreading the word about the call for applications with their networks.
-Review applications from 3 to 5 companies and provide feedback (approx. 2hrs).
-Attend a kick-off meeting with the Village Capital team and the rest of the programmatic Selection Committee, where they will receive more information about their participation and the semi-finalist review process (30mins).

The reviewing application period will be asynchronous. Once registered, the Village Capital team will send an email with all the information needed.
