The FB5K9 is our major fundraiser for the year. ALL funds raised go toward the training of service dogs for youth challenged by autism, PTSD & other psychological needs.

Event day needs (race course monitors, buddies for kids, registration tables etc). We do have a HEATED TENT this year!

The Fundraiser . . .
Investigation Station is raising money to build an amazing interactive Splash Pad at Pasco County’s Veteran’s Memorial Park in Hudson. The Splash Pad will feature a variety of interactive water features and will teach children about the water cycle. Best of all, it will provide a refreshing place to play and learn — right in Pasco County! Constructed of quality materials and built to the highest safety standards, this ambitious project has a $250,000 budget.
The Competition . . .
Each team will be challenged to complete a variety of activities — like puzzle assembly, cup stacking, bottle flipping and speed dressing. When a task is completed, the team will be given a gold coin, which a team member must run to their pot of gold at the far side of the field. The team will then tackle the next challenge, earn a second coin, and so forth. The first team to successfully complete their tasks and return their full pot back to the judge will be the winner.
Volunteers needed...
Volunteers are needed to help with the registration desk, judging the teams as they complete their activities and tell the teams when it is their turn and where to go.

The Holidays are a difficult time for young adults with disabilities - and a Valentines Day is particularly hard - these young adults have so much trouble finding and keeping friends and dates , Life With Joy Inc tries to help by holding 5 events each year.
This party is a dress up dance with a live DJ and lots of great food. We need volunteers to help set up the event, pass out food and most importantly - make our young people feel special by helping them feel less alone - volunteer and bring your dancing shoes !
