We are looking for monthly volunteer for events in any of our cities, El Paso TX, Miami FL, Dallas and San Antonio. BDaysRAllSmiles is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Our goal this year is to double the smiles by reaching more shelters, orphanages and programs that work with underserved children.

NAMI Wayne and Holmes Counties provides free services to local people who are affected by mental health conditions. The annual Walk for Wellness is our largest fundraiser and family-oriented, fun event to support our services. Our goal this year is to raise $30,000; we are well on our way, but need more community support to meet our goal. Participants will walk a 1- or 2- mile course through Secrest Arboretum, and have the opportunity to meet other people impacted by mental health.

Opportunity Details

Donated prom dresses, tuxedos, shoes and accessories are freely provided to local high school students. The prom giveaway alleviates the financial stress low-income families face who cannot afford to buy dresses, shoes and tuxedos for their teenage children attending the prom. Volunteers are needed to help select dresses, shoes, accessories and tuxedos, as well as clean up at the end of the event from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Opportunity Details

ABCs and Rice offers free education, nutrition and healthcare to children of Siem Reap Cambodia in the Sala and Kroligne Village areas. At times, it is also a safe-haven for children otherwise vulnerable to child labour, neglect and in some cases abuse.

Often families will struggle to send all or some of their children to school due to overbearing poverty, especially in the villages. In some instances economics outway their desire for their children to be educated.

ABCs and Rice understands this challenge and works with the local village chiefs to target the families in the most need by offering them a place at the school. This in turn gives the family access to the rice program.

Volunteers at ABCs and Rice come in many forms. Some of our volunteers come and work in the classrooms as Teacher Aids, supporting our Khmer teachers in teaching English to the students. Others have particular skills or talents that they want to share with us such as arts and crafts, dancing, sports or helping out around the school grounds. Whatever you choose to do in your time with us, be assured that it will make an impact to our students' and our school.

We will be tabling at the Celebrate Westgate event. This will be to represent our non profit as a part of the community. Help us get donations and spread our message of suicide awareness. We will be doing a raffle as well.

Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to ship your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for a child in your local hospital.

Opportunity Details

We are working with the Festival of the Arts in Grand Rapids to create a live portrait experience. Collaborating with members of the community who have championed the Arts "Giants" we are going to build an exhibition live!

We are looking for 4 volunteers per hour to talk about art, any art! Come have fun, experience the festival and support the arts.
