Opportunity Details

We are seeking volunteers for a day of awesome family fun for a great cause at the Defeat DIPG Family Fun Day, hosted on the grounds of our Community Partner DARCARS Ford Lanham. DIPG is the deadliest form of childhood brain cancer, and the proceeds from this event will be used to help fight this devastating disease. The event is organized by 3 families who lost

Entry to the event is free and there will be music and activities for all to enjoy. For a donation to help fight childhood brain cancer, participants will receive tickets to use for additional entertainment, food and beverages. The event will include a bouncy house, face painting, carnival games, and more, in a festive atmosphere.

Opportunity Details

Spooks Spokes Sneakers is for runners, walkers, cyclists and bikers of all levels. Bicycle riders choose between the 17 mile Halloween Ride or the 9 mile Halloweenie Ride, walkers & runners participate in a 3.5-mile powder fun run/walk. All the funds raised will support Black Hawk County Bigs, Littles and families.
