Where your donation will be used:
We are particularly excited to invite you to participate in one of our most ambitious missions, known as "Dream Big." For the third consecutive year, we are proud to be the only organization in our local area undertaking this vital initiative, which is designed to provide complete beds to children in our community who unfortunately currently find themselves sleeping on couches, shared beds, or even floors due to their challenging circumstances.
By contributing a bed to a child, you are not only meeting an essential need but also transforming lives by improving sleep quality, boosting self-esteem, enhancing focus, and reducing stress, among many other positive outcomes. To put it into perspective, approximately 3% of the U.S. population is without a proper bed, a staggering statistic that translates to nearly 11 million individuals. We are steadfast in our commitment to addressing this pressing issue and sincerely hope for your support to help us make a significant difference in our community.
On July 26th, we will be hosting a bed distribution event combined with a fun-filled day! Our goal is to distribute over 25 beds and create an enriching environment brimming with activities that will ignite children's imaginations and aspirations. From engaging crafts and entertaining games to delightful surprises, we aim to create a memorable day. We will even provide a delicious lunch for all attendees. This impactful event is made possible only through the support of compassionate organizations like yours.

Zach's Toy Chest would help create and be on site to support team-building opportunities. We will help create these based on the company's goals, budget and alignment of what they support with your team. Something as simple as creating Courage Cards for kids of all ages (or picking a specific age to focus on) to making stuffed animals the hospitals will use in various ways to help the kids receiving care and more! Will also be available to pick up donations and speak at event to help participants understand why they are participating in this specific team-building opportunity.

Saad K'idilye is in the early stages of developing and implementing their capital campaign over the next 1 to 3 years. We would like to raise $500,000 a year for three years so we can purchase facilities and land for our growing early childhood language nest, family programming, language classes, cultural arts workshops, board meetings, community gatherings, gardening, farming, etc. These facilities and land will allow us to continue to transfer our language and culture to our children, grandchildren and those yet to be born.

🚨 Volunteer Opportunity: Help Transform the Property of a Local Army Veteran 🚨

We’ve been made aware of a meaningful opportunity to assist a disabled Army veteran currently recovering in a rehab facility following recent surgery. With no immediate family around, a kind neighbor stepped up to request help on his behalf.

🏡 The Situation:

The front yard is heavily overgrown, with grass reaching 2–3 feet tall

There are numerous feral cats on the property, creating sanitation concerns

The work will be extensive and hands-on — perfect for those who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves

This project isn’t easy — but that’s exactly why it matters. When no one else can step in, that’s when we do. We’re seeking a dedicated group of helpers who are willing to tackle a challenging but deeply rewarding cleanup to bring this veteran’s home back to a livable condition.

🔍 Important Notes:

The request came from a neighbor, so we are working on establishing direct communication with the veteran himself before beginning any work — this is essential for transparency and respect.

Due to the nature of the property, safety precautions will be necessary, and this may not be suitable for all volunteers.

Opportunity Details

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, Joshua Kaye Foundation will hold our annual Family Fun Festival and Dolphin Drop Raffle to raise funds for our ongoing work in the community. This event is open to the public from 11am-4pm, but we need volunteers for shifts from 7am-7pm.

Our Family Fun Festival features live performances, a touch-a-truck, free carnival games & prizes, face painting, temporary tattoos, art & crafts activities, a curated vendor market, food trucks, inflatables, field games, and more!

**All money raised from this event helps fund our ongoing initiatives- gardens and greenhouses in partnership with schools and other community organizations, little free libraries, and holiday foods for families in need.**

200 total volunteers are needed to help this event run smoothly! Volunteers help in many ways- running carnival game tents, handing out prizes, sharing their talents in the face painting tent, welcoming guests at admission booths, supervising the obstacle course, assisting families with field games and other fun activities! Volunteer for an hour or two, or stay all day!

Join us in bringing a day of fun to the community! Your support will play a crucial role in helping us reach our goals and make a positive impact!
