Share a smile with someone special! Join the Happy Hope Factory packaging "Happy Hope Bags" for hospitalized children in your community. Your team will be crafting, creating and assembling these super fun themed packages guaranteed to deliver a boost of hope and hours of activity for these special children during their hospital stay. Hope Boxes contain all components required to assemble the Hope Bags. A prepaid UPS label is also included to take your donation to your local facility. If your team cannot complete the box within two weeks of your scheduled event please contact your hope box coordinator as children are awaiting your Hope Box donation. We can all be Hope Heroes, thank you for packaging happiness and smiles for a child in your local hospital.

Opportunity Details

Volunteer are needed on a daily basis beginning April 4th to inform our guest of the exhibit content. The volunteer role hear is called "Lobby Greeter". The responsibility will be to have coverage to greet guest who are entering the area and address questions regarding the exhibit. Our Manager of the Visitor Experience will make sure the knowledge and background of the exhibit is shared with our volunteers. On April 6th their will be an official opening ceremony of the exhibit where you will meet the artist behind the exhibit content. Please see snippet below:
In collaboration with Savannah College of Art & Design professors Michael O'Brien, Sandra Phipps, and V. Elizabeth Turk, the exhibit is an opportunity to experience diverse student voices and opinions on this topic –to let their voices be heard and influence thousands of museum visitors. The themes of their work range from the political to the biographical to unsung stories of Atlanta history.

Opportunity Details

This is a fundraiser for The CALL in Saline & Perry Counties. It's goal is to raise funds to local support foster and adoptive families so they will continue fostering and be able to make it through the hard days! The event is an ticketed event that serves appetizers and lots of chocolate desserts. Guests will enjoy live music, guest speakers and a live and silent auction.

Opportunity Details

Our Kids in the Kitchen (KITK) program is held during Noble Street Festival and reaches out to all the children who come though. We promote healthy lifestyles in children by providing them with healthy snacks, gift bags that contain goodies to keep them active, and we plant tomato plants with them to take home and re-plant. The Colgate Bright Smiles Bus will be joining us again this year to provide free dental screenings for children. This is a free program we host every year for all children who are interested in participating.

We will be making phone calls to family teams to encourage registration, fundraising and to follow up on meeting invitations for the March for Babies event. This will directly impact the dollars raised at the event. Funds raised at March for Babies supports the mission of the March of Dimes to deliver the healthiest beginnings so that every generation has the brightest tomorrow. The March of Dimes imagines a world, in which every baby has an opportunity to thrive, live the future they choose and grow up and change the world.
