Digital Skills Nigeria (DSN) is a multi-year, multi-stakeholder private-public-non-profit partnership designed by Microsoft for the purpose of building the capacity of key government MDAs to offer sustainable, scalable reskilling and employment services aligned to the local labor markets. The program focuses on providing access to digital skills training (from basic digital literacy to advanced training) for young people in Nigeria between the ages of 16-35 years.

The advanced certification component of the program offers eligible professional's vouchers to receive advanced certification in the following courses:

Security Administrator (MS-500)

Azure Data Scientist (DP-100)

Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500)

Azure Administrator (AZ-104)

Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ-400)

Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300).

The vouchers cover the cost of the certification exam, allowing beneficiaries to receive advanced certification at no cost.

Volunteers/facilitators of the program would play a crucial role in helping beneficiaries achieve their career goals by teaching them the skills and knowledge required to pass the certification exams, positioning them for success in the digital economy and gaining a competitive edge in the job market.

Our nonprofit charity organization would like to request help with developing our website so, that we may market our programs and provide additional information to potential supporters. In our last project, we came up with a design and our next step is to add the content and arrange the website in a user-friendly manner.

A New Start provides internship, empowerment, and career development training to the disabled, veterans, homeless, and students. In order to grow these programs, a website is pivotal.

We have created a website for our program that can be used as a starting point. Our last project was to come up with a template. We have all the content for this website so, it will be an easy project since all we have to do is input the data. We will be very available to work on the completion of this project and be very timely in communication. We are using Wix.

As a Volunteer Buddy, you will have the incredibly rewarding job of spending 1on1 time with an All-Star with special needs helping him/her to enjoy the many fun activities an All-Stars Club offers - sports, karaoke, crafts, snacks, & much more. Buddies don’t need any prior experience working with individuals with special needs. Not only is your time giving an unforgettable experience to a person with special needs, but you're affording their parents/caregivers a couple hours of much needed rest!

We will be meeting at Paulin Memorial Church, 3200 Woodland, and loading costumes, set pieces, props, makeup kits, etc., into a Uhaul truck, then going to The Olde Walkerville Theatre on Wyandotte St. E. between Lincoln and Gladstone to unload and set up on the stage and in the dressing rooms. We need 3 or 4 volunteers DURING THE DAY on MONDAY, May May 15th. Closed-toed shoes must be worn.
