North Hills Community Outreach is a nonprofit organizing serving the North Hills of Pittsburgh operating over 20 programs. Our mission is to help our neighbors in crisis hardship, and poverty with the vision that no one is cold, hungry, or alone.

One of our biggest fundraisers is the Citrus Sale which benefits our three food pantries. We take advance orders by the case, and supporters can order for themselves and/or donate cases of fruit to the food pantries. A semi delivers hundreds of cases of delicious fruit from a grove in Florida and volunteers help unload, organize, deliver and distribute it. We need volunteers on Saturday, March 3, from 8:30 to 11:30 to help inspect and sort the fruit and then organize the boxes for distribution.

Become a mentor to an IntoUniversity staff member who has recently taken on a new managerial role. Meet five times across the course of a year, either in person or virtually, to provide advice and support and enabling our staff to grow and develop professionally within the charity.

NAMIWalks brings together thousands of individuals and supporters to celebrate mental illness recovery, to honor those who have lost their lives to mental illness and to help raise funds, combat stigma and promote awareness.
