HELP US CHANGE THE WORLD!

We are looking for motivated individuals who would are ready to help make a difference in the world. CrowdDoing is searching for individuals who can help us find various sources of funding through grant research. The primary responsibility of a grant researcher will be for the research of applicable potential grant opportunities available. The person should fulfill the below criteria for this volunteer position:

Experienced researching funding options
Research, retrieval, and assembly of background material for grant proposals
Comfortable working remotely and independently
CrowdDoing.world's Classic impact investments are investments made into companies, organizations and funds with the intention of generating social and environmental impact alongside a financial return.
This is an exciting industry with investors who are looking for positive social and environmental impact, as well as solid financial returns. This development is accelerating all over the world and across all asset classes using Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) identified by the United Nations as a benchmark.
It is a natural progression for blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, to change the way investors think of the impact industry today and to create new avenues of philanthropy. Many experts see blockchain and distributed ledger technology as an enabler for a new kind of internet - the internet of value and trust. There is a multitude of use cases in distributed ledger technology. The key characteristics of blockchain, which include provenance of digital goods, decentralized consensus-building, security and immutability, high availability and finality, all combine to enable entirely new business models.
It is believed that this new era will enable:
support of disintermediation where beneficial
potential to lift billions of unbanked people out of poverty
provide trust at a distance
contribute to global health, environmental goals and inclusive economic development
provide a measuring tool for achievement of impact goals and returns
IImpact investors desire assets that have inherent impact. However, tokens and ICOs that have entered the market so far have brought about wildly variable outcomes. Some are less desirable than others, and while many proclaim to bring positive impact, there is a gap in the available tools to methodically measure these benefits.

Why the Impact Crypto Alliance?

The Impact Crypto Alliance aims to be the definitive resource on measuring the social impact that blockchain unleashes, while assessing market manipulation risk. It provides participants access to our exhaustive research of high-growth, trustworthy, and innovative companies that develop products and services to improve the state of the world.
By investing in coins and tokens issued by these companies or project teams it is now possible for impact investors to financially support them in an easy and cost-effective way with potential returns higher than ever before as the revolutionary nature of blockchain technology takes hold.
The Crypto Impact Alliance is geared to identify the best blockchain impact projects targeted towards SDG goals, in terms of future returns and risk.
Impact investment areas we focus on are aligned with the SDG, including:
renewable energy
financial inclusion
healthcare
education
agriculture
supply chain transparency
This paper first describes the various types of market manipulation, followed by our approach and methodology in measuring these activities across a select set of cryptocurrencies. The results of our investigation highlight the prevalence of questionable, bordering fraudulent plays by various actors in the cryptocurrencies analyzed.

CrowdDoing.world's Plant proximity is understood by the scientific community through the lens of ""biophelia"". Biophelia is the visual & sensory experience of plants and proximity to plants. CrowdDoing draws upon expertise relevant to reviewing for validity and applicability our simulation of biophelia in hospitals. Our draft aims to forecast the social outcomes that could be caused by varying scenarios of biophelia in hospitals. We have identified more than 100 outcomes that in principle can be attributed to biophelia. We present here in draft for review a partial simulation of this impact potential. We have aimed to consider prospective benefits to all stakeholders. We have structured this to be a flexible model that can be adapted to any hospital circumstance. We’ve aimed to identify both health outcomes, environmental outcomes financial outcomes.

CrowdDoing.world's Foods.& Herbs for Stress,Sleep & Anxiety Initiative aims to give people agency by educating people about their options with regards to their natural remedies for these aspects of their mental health. We do so by analyzing scientific research and clinical evidence, gathering new evidence through data science and citizen science, and recommending to individuals optimal combinations of teas, tinctures, and powders that can be used to achieve each individual's
mental health goals. We conduct this research with the goal of allowing people to make informed decisions about their health and to increase access to healthy stress-coping alternatives. These healthy coping mechanisms can reduce reliance on harmful self-medication practices such as alcohol abuse or behavior likely to lead to opioid addiction.

About Prevention Derivatives: CrowdDoing propose launching a prevention derivative with two new stakeholders: (a) contingent payers who pay in proportion to the reduction in risk, and (b) impact investors who finance social innovations in which their return is similarly proportional to the reduction in risk. It will build on existing precedents for contingent contracts involving social- innovation-based risk prevention.
A spectrum of forest fire risk prevention approaches are available: from creative new social innovations to well-established interventions. The forest fire risk prevention derivative would first survey existing forest fire prevention interventions in Greater Sacramento with an eye towards which ones might be suitable to support and expand. It would then review global social innovations that might be relevant to Northern California to determine which to replicate. Entities involved in risk management and risk securitisation, from insurers to reinsurers to retrocessionaires, ought to welcome the chance to share liability proportionally through a commons of prevention innovations. The prevention derivative can expand as more institutions and individuals join as contingent payers and impact investors in order prevent a larger portion of collective risk. Payments by private and public institutions to support prevention derivatives can be in-kind, through services, and/or financial.

New Partnerships Development- Social Capital Bridge CrowdDoing.world
CrowdDoing.world has twenty areas of social innovation areas. Each one has need for us to develop partnerships. If you have social capital you wish to use, or if you know how to develop social capital, or are open to collaborating to connect a messaging funneling process into a collaboration building/alliance building process- collaboration would you would be warmly welcome.

If you come from a sales or business development or a B to B marketing background you can have a natural context for impact work in our partnership development initiation unit. CrowdDoing aims to support each of our twenty areas. But there is only so much of the networking that can happen through team leads. So this role has been created so volunteers can help us reach the optimal coalitions with potential allies and partners who can champion our systems change research and development efforts.

CrowdDoing.world believes in the exponential potential of global collaboration to de-risk and develop social innovations and leverage diverse capabilities to realize shared goals. CrowdDoing leverages multiplintervention points and under-utilized capacities to achieve operating leverage for systems change. CrowdDoing is able to achieve this kind of compound leverage for impact across our portfolio areas from homelessness prevention, prevention derivatives, health from spending time in nature, medicinal foods for stress and anxiety, and preventing isolation as a side effect of virtual volunteerism. All of these are anticipatory solutions which allow people to get ahead of their risks of catastrophe. CrowdDoing leverages under-utilized capacities to make it feasible for our solutions to potentially reach the scale of the problems we face together.

CrowdDoing.world has initiatives in multiple areas, service-learning is integrated into all of them as life-long professional development opportunity:

Public Health
A: Nature counter to get people to achieve enough time in nature to get a mental health and a physical health benefit across days, weeks, months and years of their life.

Biophelia to get hospitals to embrace vertical gardens to prevent opioid addiction and medical mistakes.
Foods & herbs that can alleviate stress, sleep & anxiety

Sustainability
Prevention derivatives-for preventing catastrophic risk to health and property instead of risk transfer markets.
Debt for Nature- i.e., forgive debt to address gap in conservation and regeneration.
Crypto impact potential sustainability index

Anti-poverty
Homelessness prevention through zero-subsidy affordable housing based on appreciation-based financing models (learning from the history of StanfordUniversity's application of off-campus professor housing programs),
Crypto-impact-potential anti-poverty index.
Sweat equity diversification vehicle for social innovation products, services and organizations.

Systems Change Research & Development
Systems change research and development: #systems change youtube show and podcast,
""Doppelgangers United"" as a radical collaboration cluster.
CrowdDoing.world's venture lab

The number of deaths in cities from air pollution can be nearly eliminated and mental health in cities can be improved by increasing the density of plants. Three Biophelia Sub-themes, Vertical Gardens in hospitals, biophelia density simulation, and nature counter to bring people to nature more.

The Annie Malone May Day Parade is one of the oldest and largest parades in the area. In 1910, the first May Day Parade was held. The parade for many years was held in north St. Louis, however as the size of participants and spectators grew, it was moved to Downtown St. Louis. Today, the parade has grown to be the 2nd largest African-American parade in the country with over 3,500 participants and 30,000 spectators. The parade is our agency’s largest fundraiser with proceeds covering both direct program costs and operating expenses not covered by other sources of revenue.
