“A Nite at the Races”, Buddies Not Bullies annual fundraiser, brings an evening of virtual horse racing combined with silent & live auctions. Funds raised during this event are vital to our ability to provide community based prevention courses, our FREE web-based parent education series, and our newest project - Web-based professional development for educators.

Volunteers at this fundraising event will be asked to perform essential, but relatively easy tasks, such as taking tickets, assisting the Betting & Auction Bankers, delivering auction receipts & items to winning bidders, and other assorted helpful fundraiser activities taking place at different times throughout the evening.

The event itself is incredibly fun and we love our volunteers to giddy up and enjoy themselves as well.

Train for the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon on March 19, 2023, while raising funds for girls in New York City. As a SoleMate charity athlete, you will receive the support of our SoleMates Committee, staff, and community partners!

Currently, more than 80% of the girls in our program receive financial assistance to participant – and as a SoleMate, you make this possible. Funds raised by SoleMates allow girls the opportunity to participate in our life-changing program, empowering them to be confident, healthy and joyful. Your support will help us maintain our commitment to serve all girls, regardless of financial need.

To get guaranteed entry into the race, you commit to one of these options:
- Fundraise $2,100: you give the Girls on the Run program season to six students; and we’ll reimburse your race registration fee.
OR
- Fundraise $1,600: you allow for four students to participate in our middle school Heart & Sole program in an upcoming season.

As a SoleMate, you will receive great benefits while training, including:
- Special fundraising and training sessions led by our SoleMates Committee, local physical therapy offices, and other community partners
- A training plan adjustable to your ability and interest level
- Fundraising ideas to help you pass your goal, including individual support from our staff
- Girls on the Run gear, including a singlet to wear on race day

Volunteers needed to help run 50/50, balloon pop station, raffle basket ticket sales, table runners, and round judges.
ORPA is a small organization of parents and mentors formed to support the Oakville Robotics team. We are hosting our first fundraiser, a trivia night! Because this is the first event, the parents and sponsors will also have tables for the event. Having volunteers will allow mentors and parents to participate in trivia with their family, friends, guests, and supporters.
Our goal is to raise 50K, and fully fund the 2023 Robotics competition season. Part of the 50K budget includes an enclosed trailer that will be utilized for future competition seasons.
