Thank you so much for thinking of Dignity for Divas for your volunteer project.
Dignity for Divas is a non-profit organization supporting women as they transition from homelessness to a self-sustaining life by ensuring access to daily essentials.

We are currently looking for volunteer support to assemble our amazing diva swag bags which support our monthly healing and wellness workshops: Each month we service between 90-150 Divas at our Dream Academy located in the South Lake Union area.

We have simplified our process to make your volunteer experience the BEST!

Here are a FEW things we need to know before booking your event:
1. When would you like to host your event?
*** We request a 2 week notice for volunteer events***
2. How much time would you like to volunteer?
3. Where would you like to host your project?
4. Would you like the founder to come and speak to your group?
5.Do you have any idea of how many people will be volunteering?
6. Does your team have a budget available to support supply cost?
** Here is why we ask***
At this time, we do not have the resources available to purchase supplies needed to host group events. We are actively pursuing support to offset the cost of the needed supplies with will hopefully alleviate the need to receive such support.
We are a growing organization trying to help in a BIG way.

To give you an example on cost:
10-20 people usually assemble 100 kits in 1 hour (typical cost between $200-$300)
20-30 people usually assemble 200-300 kits in 1 hour (typical cost between $400-$500)
30-50- people usually assemble 400-500 kits in 1-hour (typical cost between $500-$750)
Larger groups usually assemble 1000 kits (typical cost $750 and above)

Once your event is confirmed our volunteer coordinator will send you an Amazon wish list to match your group size and budget and you can order all supplies and have them shipped directly to you in time for your event!
Super easy right :)

We will also send you over a video to share during your event and pictures.
If interested in moving forward, please email your inquiry with answers to the above question to: volunteer@dignityfordivas.org

Thank you for your interest!

The Women of Valor Program focuses on female caregivers of post-9/11 wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans. We are seeking female volunteers (Team Angels) to support these selfless heroes. Our Team Angels support these women by sending small, meaningful gifts, and cards of encouragement throughout the year to let the caregivers know that they are not alone in their journey. With the challenges that these Women of Valor face on a daily basis, the love and encouragement offered by our Team Angels provides them that little bit of strength and reassurance. Please sign up to support our caregivers http://soldiersangels.org/Women-of-Valor-Team.html.

Sadly, some service members get no mail from back home during their deployment. Thankfully, an army of volunteers on the Soldiers’ Angels Letter Writing Virtual Team are here to write letters to deployed to ensure they never feel alone.

Volunteers on this virtual team write letters to deployed service members who have registered to receive support from the Deployed Adoptions Team. Angels write letters to service members who may need an extra boost of support.

Write a different service member each time who is waiting to be adopted and needs a little mail to show them some love! Join the Soldiers’ Angels Letter Writing Team.

Globally we have grown from about 100 volunteers at the beginning of 2022 to over 800 by June 1, 2022. Now we are looking for someone who can help replicate that same success in North America.
We have excellent systems for recruiting and initial onboarding, we just need someone dedicated to implement those systems.
